Match #1: The Acclaimed & Billy Gunn def. Rush, Preston Vance & Dralistico
My Thoughts: This was another average match from The Acclaimed who don’t seem to be able to kick things into top gear at all recently. Every match feels like the trio of Max Caster, Anthony Bowens and Billy Gunn are just going through the motions and sticking to a Very familiar playbook that gets them over with live audience but does nothing for them personally. Welcome back to another review of Aew Dark: Elevation, which features only Four(!) matches this week and a sub-thirty minute running time. Once again we’ve got Elevation regulars Paul Wight and Matt Menard on commentary. So let’s get into the review!
Match #1: Butcher, Blade and Kip Sabian def. Shunma Katsumata, Yuki Ueno and Mao
My Thoughts: It’s great to see some more Ddt talent making their way to the US and appearing in Aew – after all it worked out Great for Takeshita! Having the trio of Katsumata, Ueno and Mao face three long-standing and talented Aew veterans like The Butcher and The Blade and Kip Sabian made a lot of sense too. Shame the crowd wasn’t into this one though.

Match #1: Tony Nese and Ari Daivari def. Lane Summers and Campbell Myers
My Thoughts: This was an incredibly dull opening match and a squash match at that too. Nese and Daivari are, unfortunately, pretty much charisma-free and that doesn’t help their matches in the slightest; and with this match we didn’t even get any words from Mark Sterling to cover that fact up!

Match #1: Nyla Rose and Marina Shafir def. Sandra Moone and J-Rod
My Thoughts: Well this was an interesting surprise. I expected a squash but no, Rose and Shafir let their opponents put some work in and this came off as more competitive than even the patented Aew “quasi-squash”. Great start to this week’s show!

Match #1: Emi Sakura def. Rachelle Riveter
My Thoughts: Nice to see Emi Sakura Open an episode of Elevation, though as usual she’s squashing her opponent. Well I say this is a squash, but this is the trademark-pending “Aew quasi-squash”, with Sakura giving Rachelle Riveter just enough space to get some offence in and not look totally weak. Which, if I’m honest, is always a trait of Sakura’s matches – she allows her opponent, no matter who it is, to show off their skills. Unlike some other people on the roster!

Match #1: Dark Order def. El Dragon, El Cobarde, and Vary Morales
My Thoughts: I’ll repeat Exactly what I said last week… Another win (and appearance in fact) for Dark order on Aew’s YouTube shows. No sure what the plan is for this now-diminished faction but they’re back doing skits about hiring folks to be in the group on Bte, so maybe that’s a good sign? Otherwise, this was your typical Dark Order squash match against enhancement talent.

Match #1: Emi Sakura, Marina Shafir and Nyla Rose def. Johnnie Robbie, Vipress and Zyra
My Thoughts: This match saw a return to the Shafir/Rose/Vickie squabbles that we’ve seen previously – they’re obviously building to the split between the trio but at the same time I’ve enjoyed the teaming of Nyla Rose’s intensity with Vickie Guerrero’s brash attitude and I’ll miss it when the split does happen. As for this match? It felt more like an angle than a match but still, an Aew quasi-squash is still an Aew quasi-squash!

My Thoughts: As this started I thought “here we go, another Brian Cage squash” but that is Not what we got! Match #1: Nyla Rose and Marina Shafir def. Leva Bates and Karizma
My Thoughts: This felt very much like Nyla Rose and Marina Shafir going through the motions, as if this was either put together at the last minute or the duo were off their game – which is odd given how good they’ve been together recently. Still, a squash is a squash.
My Score: 1 out of 5 Match #2: Julia Hart def. Promise Braxton

My Thoughts: The Bunny took control of this one for the get-go, only “letting” Blain Onyx get a few hits in so it didn’t look like she totally folded. But otherwise this was a complete and total squash.
My Score: 1 out of 5 Match #2: Brandon Cutler def. Man Scout
My Thoughts: Another Brandon Cutler comedy match… What did you expect? Classic wrestling? He’s fighting Man Scout here folks! This was more of your typical Aew quasi-squash but the outcome was Never in doubt. At all. In the slightest.

If possession is nine-tenths of the law, Nyla Rose can really argue that she is the All Elite Wrestling TBS champion. “The Native Beast” has gotten under the skin of the official title holder, Jade Cargill by keeping the gold in her care. All the trash talk and mind games lead to two of the most dominant performers in the women’s division facing off at the Full Gear pay-per-view. There Rose looks to not only dethrone Cargill but break her impressive undefeated streak. It would be a further milestone night for the challenger who would become the first to have held the TBS and Aew women’s titles. No stranger to trailblazing right from the moment she stepped into the company as the first transgender wrestler to sign with a major American promotion. We caught up with Rose to preview the big showdown and her evolution as one of the Aew originals.

It’s Monday, so you know what that means, it’s time for this week’s review of Aew: Rampage! This week’s show was broadcast from the Agganis Arena in Boston, Mass. and featured Excalibur, Tony Schiavone and Jim Ross on commentary. Now let’s get to the review…
Match #1: World Title Eliminator Tournament Quarter-Final Match – Brian Cage def. Dante Martin The following is courtesy of allelitewrestling.com:
Dante clocked Cage with a kick to the head. Dante tried a springboard but Cage caught him and curled him like he was lifting weights in the gym. Dante escaped and ducked two lariats, sending Cage to the arena floor with a dropkick. Dante attempted a tope suicida but Brian Cage caught him and suplexed him onto the arena floor. Dante battered Cage with strikes but Cage collected himself. Dante kept his momentum with a diving cross body press for a near fall!

Another week, another episode of Aew: Dark which, like Elevation, features nine matches… On with this week’s review!
Match #1: Danhausen def. Jon Cruz
My Thoughts: Danhausen manages to get a win after losing to Qt Marshall on Elevation. Though it was againzt jobber Jon Cruz, who was last seen on Dark getting quickly squashed by The Butcher (way back in 2021). Still it’s always great to see Danhausen in action. Always.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5 Match #2: The Embassy def. Fuego Del Sol and Waves & Curls
My Thoughts: Well this was surprise, I expected a quick squash of Feugo and his teammates but no, instead we got a decent display of action from everyone involved. In fact this was – in another total surprise – one of the best matches we’ve seen from The Embassy so far.
My Score: 3 out of 5 Match #3: Nyla Rose def. Leva Bates

Match #1: Jon Moxley & Claudio Castagnoli def. The Butcher & The Blade The following is courtesy of allelitewrestling.com:
William Regal joined the commentary team for this match. The two teams brawled outside the ring. Back in the ring, Blade and Moxley traded stiff chops. Moxley suplexed Blade. “Hangman” Adam Page was watching Moxley on a screen from backstage. Claudio tagged in and he ate a running leg drop from the Butcher. Welcome back to another review of Aew Dark: Elevation, which this week features seven matches and a number of big-name stars! We’ve got Ian Riccaboni, Paul Wight and Matt Menard on commentary, so let’s get into the review…
Match #1: Hikaru Shida def. Erica Leigh
My Thoughts: Straight out of the gate, we’ve got a typical Aew quasi-squash match, with Shida not Totally demolishing and embarrassing her opponent here but still being in control of this match entirely. A quick sub-three minute match to kick off this week’s show!
My Score: 1.5 out of 5 Match #2: Lance Archer def. Papadon
My Thoughts: And we get a re-run of the previous match here… only from the male perspective! Papadon got in quite a bit of offence but there was no way any of it was going to have any real impact on Archer…
My Score: 1.5 out of 5 Match #3: Emi Sakura def.

We’ve got a bonus show from Aew this week, the quarterly Battle of the Belts 4, which followed directly from this week’s live episode of Rampage on TNT. Let’s get to it!
Match #1: Aew All-Atlantic Championship Match – Pac def. Trent Beretta The following is courtesy of allelitewrestling.com:
Trent clotheslined Pac over the top rope and to the floor. Trent followed up with a pescado. Trent bodyslammed Pac on the arena floor. Trent speared Pac on the outside. Trent hit a high boot on Pac and then placed him on a table. Trent was going to jump off the ramp onto Pac but Pac moved off the table. Pac got a second wind and delivered an avalanche brainbuster to Trent! Pac was turned inside out with a lariat from Trent. Trent planted Pac with a piledriver for a near fall. Welcome to this week’s review of Aew Dark: Elevation, the opening salvo in the Aew wrestling week. We’ve got Matt Menard on commentary again this week but… he’s joined by Roh’s Ian Riccaboni(!) for this episode so let’s see what the show has to offer!
Match #1: Zack Clayton def. Conan Lycan
My Thoughts: A pretty decent match from Zack Clayton, who seems to be slotting into Aew nicely. Conan Lycan was a decent opponent, matching Clayton’s size and strength brilliantly. Like Julia Hart, Clayton is certainly going to improve the longer he’s with the company.
My Score: 2 out of 5 Match #2: Nyla Rose def. B3cca

Welcome to this week’s review of Aew Dark: Elevation, the opening salvo in the Aew wrestling week. We’ve got the usual [new] commentary team, Excalibur and Matt Menard, for this episode so let’s see what the show has to offer!
Match #1: Marina Shafir and Nyla Rose def. Jc Storm and Joelle Clift
My Thoughts: Marina Shafir and Nyla Rose make a great team and they look So dominant in squash matches like this. But still we’ve opened with a squash match on Elevation. Again.
My Score: 1 out of 5 Match #2: Julia Hart def. Tiara James
My Thoughts: Another strong match for the former cheerleader turned [possible] leader of the House of Black. She squashed her enhancement talent opponent with ease.

Another week, another episode of Aew: Dark which emanates from Chicago like the rest of this past week’s shows. We got a tight 7-match card (thank god) so let’s get right to it!
Match #1: Josh Woods & Tony Nese def. Brandon Gore & Storm Grayson
My Thoughts: Again? Really? Well at least Nese and Woods are getting work. Work against jobbers but work nonetheless. Though we didn’t need two matches a week from those guys Imho, especially when both are squash matches.
My Score: 1.5 out of 5 Match #2: Marina Shafir def. Laynie Luck
My Thoughts: This match felt like a step back from the work Shafir is doing in her tag matches with Nyla Rose (who was at ringside here), with a number of iffy-looking moves from Shafir that even Taz points out on commentary!
My Score: 1 out of 5 Match #3: Zack Clayton def. Serpentico

Welcome to this week’s review of Aew Dark: Elevation, the opening salvo in the Aew wrestling week. We’ve got a repeat of last week’s commentary team, Excalibur and Matt Menard, for this episode so let’s see what the show has to offer!
Match #1: Julia Hart def. Alice Crowley
My Thoughts: Another good outing for Julia Hart who, every week, gets better and better, smoother and smoother. She really feels like she’s embraced this new character and it’s made her look a lot better in the ring. I do hope House of Black continues given the rumours about Malakai Black at All Out this past weekend.
My Score: 2 out of 5 Match #2: Josh Woods and Tony Nese def. Jordan Kross and Renny D
My Thoughts: How much of a squash was this? I’ll tell you… Renny D didn’t even get an official tag into the match!

Match #1: Dante Martin def. Wes Barkley
My Thoughts: After last week’s match I was expecting Dante Martin to thoroughly squash his opponent here but that wasn’t the case, Wes Barkley managed to hold his own for a short while, even getting a 1-count on Martin. Still, we were in quasi-squash territory with this one!

My Thoughts: Dull quasi-squash and a waste of the talent involved.
My Score: 1 out of 5 Match #2: Dark Order def. Tug Cooper, Drew System, Rylie Jackson and Adam Grace
My Thoughts: Fun multi-man squash. Dark ORder did their thing with aplomb as usual.
My Score: 1 out of 5 Match #3: Serena Deeb def. Sierra
My Thoughts: Sierra put in a decent showing last week and despite facing the queen of the enhancement talent squash, she also managed to showcase herself her too, breaking out of a number of Deeb’s moves. More from Sierra please Tony Khan!

Toni Storm was recently revealed as new No. 1 contender for the Aew Women’s World Championship. Pic credit: @tonistorm_/Instagram
Australian professional wrestler Toni Storm is showing off her athletic skills at the beach as she performed an impressive leaping pose for a recent shoot.
The All Elite Wrestling star donned a skimpy tie-dye bikini featuring blue, white, orange, and yellow in her latest image, which has her seemingly hovering off the sand.
In the pic, Storm has one arm stretched and the other flexed to pose her hand near her head, with one leg bent as the other is pointing towards the sand.
Along with her tanned and sculpted physique, Storm’s got a few of her tattoos on display in the photo, including a large face drawn on her lower right leg and a smaller artwork just above her left foot.

Another week, another episode of Aew: Dark which emanates from Grand Rapids, Michigan – which means this was taped at the same time as this past weekend’s Battle of the Belts special. We’ve got Taz and Excalibur on commentary as usual so let’s get to the action!
Match #1: Private Party, The Butcher & The Blade def. Isaiah Broner, James Alexander, Brayden Lee, & Sam Moore
My Thoughts: So we open Dark with an 8-man quasi-squash match. Hey, at least Private Party, The Butcher & The Blade are getting “TV” time right? Right..? It seems both teams are floundering somewhat after the end of the Hfo/Ahfo so to see them in action is good, even more so when the in-ring action is good too!

Welcome to this week’s review of Aew Dark: Elevation, the opening salvo in the Aew wrestling week. Once again we’ve got the duo of Tony Schiavone and Mark Henry on commentary this week… Let’s see what the show has to offer!
Match #1: Julia Hart def. Lmk
My Thoughts: Julia Hart’s transformation continues… Like last week, ere her character work was at the fore, with a determined walk to the ring, a stalking of her opponent (which I think is Really working for Hart) and a vicious streak that saw her slap the crap out of Lmk. Onwards and upwards for Hart methinks!
My Score: 2 out of 5 Match #2: Leila Grey def. Jc
My Thoughts: It’s clear Aew see something in Leila Grey, given that she’s had numerous matches now And she’s been lined up as a baddie replacement on the main shows too.

Welcome to this week’s review of Aew Dark: Elevation, the opening salvo in the Aew wrestling week. Once again we’ve got Excalibur, Caprice Coleman and Mark Henry on commentary and I’m digging the switch-ups we’ve had on the commentary team in recent weeks… Let’s see what the show has to offer!
Match #1: Angelico and Private Party (Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy) def. Ar Fox, Liam Gray and Adrian Alanis
My Thoughts: There was nothing remarkable about this match as Private Party continue to coast along and not live up to the hype of their signing back at the beginning of Aew. In fact, Private Party on Being the Elite is Better than Private Party in the ring! So in the end we get an average score for an average match.

Rocky ducked a lariat from Kyle. Rocky slid under Kyle and then wacked him with a stiff kick to the midsection. Trent tagged in and walloped Kyle with a clothesline. Mark Davis booted Trent in the jaw. Trent fired back with a suplex, sending Mark crashing hard on the mat. Orange Cassidy tagged in and powered up by putting his hands in his pockets. Orange followed up with a shotgun dropkick! Rocky tagged...

Welcome to this week’s review of Aew Dark: Elevation which sees the show get back to a longer card, featuring seven matches this week. We’ve got Excalibur, Anthony Ogogo and Mark Henry on commentary and Serena Deeb and Mercedes Martinez re-teaming for more women’s tag action! Let’s get into the review…
Match #1: Serena Deeb and Mercedes Martinez def. Heather Reckless and Tootie Lynn
My Thoughts: Serena Deeb and Mercedes Martinez are re-teaming once again for more tempestuous women’s tag team wrestling. The duo work together on a knife-edge and it has brought an interesting air of tension to their matches so far – and this one’s no different. Like their last pairing, this was an example of an Aew quasi-squash match, with Deeb and Martinez giving Heather Reckless and Tootie Lynn a modicum of space to Try and get some offence in!

Another episode of Aew: Dark, which this week was apparently taped around an episode of Rampage so we get a decent crowd and bigger names on the card. Let’s join Taz and Excalibur, commentators for Dark as usual, and see what this week’s Eight matches have in store… Those match counts are getting bigger and bigger the further we get from Double or Nothing.
Match #1: Qt Marshall def. Alan Angels
My Thoughts: Wtf?! We closed this week’s Elevation with Dark Order versus The Factory and open this week’s Dark with Alan Angels versus Qt Marshall… Running out of ideas much? I’m really starting to wonder what the hell the plan is, if there is a plan, with these recurring Dark Order/The Factory matches? Feuding on YouTube shows but not referencing them outside of YouTube. Hell, I’m expecting to see both teams start...

Welcome to this week’s review of Aew Dark: Elevation which sees the show get back to a longer card, featuring seven matches this week. We’ve got Excalibur and Mark Henry on commentary and the Dark Order in Another main event! Let’s get into the review…
Match #1: Nyla Rose def. Max the Impaler
My Thoughts: Well Max the Impaler certainly has an interesting look! Max was also a fantastic foil for Nyla, seemingly matching her beat for beat. This one could have done with more time and a not-so-quick ending. But hey ho, we’re back to quick matches packed in a short amount of time on Dark and Elevation it seems.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5 Match #2: Private Party def. Camaro Jackson and Sk Bishop
My Thoughts: I’m not the biggest fan of Private Party but I do like it when they treat matches more seriously.

Welcome to this week’s review of Aew Dark: Elevation which has a short run time and a four-match card. I could honestly get used to these shorter shows! On commentary this week we have Paul Wight, Mark Henry And Tony Schiavone. Let’s get right into the action, which comes from the Kia Forum (aka The Forum) in Los Angeles, California.
Match #1: The Factory def. Dark Order
My Thoughts: This was a good, but not great, match. The kind of match you can watch without really paying attention to it and still know exactly what’s going on. Can’t believe Dark Order lost to The factory though, it looks like the faction are back to losing match after match, week after week. Do we need an injection of new blood into Dark Order? Probably.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5 Match #2: Frankie Kazarian def. Serpentico
My Thoughts: Kazarian...

Welcome to this bonus review of Aew’s special pre-ppv Saturday edition episode of Aew: Dark which usually means that either a) Aew are burning off pre-taped stuff that doesn’t fit into post-ppv storylines Or b) are building hype for said PPV. Given this episode comes from Las Vegas, I’ll bet it’s the latter… Let’s see!
Match #1: Darby Allin def. Brandon Cutler
My Thoughts: This was short and sweet, essentially a squash match-come-promo for Allin’s pay per view match against Kyle O’Reilly. Cutler stood no chance and with a few moves Allin put him away. Nice submission finish to this one – proving Allin has more in the tank than the coffin drop.
My Score: 1.5 out of 5 Match #2: Anna Jay def. Sandra Moone
My Thoughts: Again this was something of a warm-up match for Anna Jay before her PPV match against Jade Cargill.

Welcome to this week’s review of Aew Dark: Elevation, we’re back to just Mark Henry and Paul Wight on commentary and this week’s show is another short card, featuring 6 matches this week. Let’s get right into the action!
Match #1: Ethan Page def. Jd Griffey
My Thoughts: Griffey had a decent showing here in this quasi-squash match, but this one was Ethan Page’s to lose. It’s good to see Page actually wrestling on Aew television and not just cutting promos. Maybe now Scorpio Sky has the TNT Title spotlight that some of the spotlight will rub off on Page. Here’s Hoping!
My Score: 2 out of 5 Match #2: Roh Women’s Title Match – Mercedes Martinez def. Hyan
My Thoughts: Mercedes Martinez gave Texas local Hyan a Lot of room here. It even looked like she was doing Hyan’s moves for her at one point!

Welcome to this week’s review of Aew Dark: Elevation, we’ve got Paul Wight, Mark Henry, Tony Schiavone And Anthony Ogogo on commentary (4 people! 4!) and another short and sweet 6-match card, so let’s get right into the action!
Match #1: Bear Bronson def. Brandon Cutler
My Thoughts: This was the usual Brandon Cutler match. A squash but one that saw Cutler up to his usual antics and comedy wrestling style. Unfortunately for Cutler Bear Bronson took this one a bit more seriously and got the quick win.
My Score: 1.5 out of 5 Match #2: Brody King def. Alex Reynolds
My Thoughts: Another quick squash match for Elevation as Brodie King. Well it wasn’t a Total squash, with Reynolds at least getting some good offence in against the more powerful Brody King. And it was power that won the day here.
My Score: 1.5 out of 5 Match #3: Anna Jay and Yuka Sakazaki def.

Welcome to this week’s review of Aew Dark: Elevation, we’ve got Excalibur, Mark Henry and Paul Wight on commentary and an 8-match card. Let’s get right into the action!
Match #1: Julia Hart def. Abby Jane
My Thoughts: Abby Jane makes her Aew debut in a squash match against Julia Hart, who’s clearly been taking lessons from someone in the back – unleashing a couple of chops on Jane that sounded like they really hurt! Hart is still selling the black mist, this week the dark patch under her eye is significantly bigger than previously; and she’s getting more and more aggressive. Perhaps we’re due the final turn for Hart real soon?
My Score: 2 out of 5 Match #2: Anthony Ogogo def. Goldy
My Thoughts: Another squash match for Anthony Ogogo. Though it looks like, as with Julia Hart, some improvements have been since his last televised match.
