- Christine Chubbuck was born on August 24, 1944 in Hudson, Ohio, USA. She died on July 15, 1974 in Sarasota, Florida, USA.
- Her show, Suncoast Digest, was not normally a videotaped show, however per her insistence, they taped the show in which she committed suicide. As home VCRs were not yet on the market, the studio copy is the only copy of her suicide in existence. Her family successfully sued to prevent the tape from being sold or released in any way and it was then turned over to them along with her possessions.
