Not since Ivan Drago squared off against Rocky, have we awaited such a battle. Batman and Superman going toe to toe, cape to cape. Readers of the Frank Miller graphic novel will be all too aware of how this goes, and it's not how you'd think. Guillermo Grispo is the fight choreographer for next year's over hyped (and probably fucked up badly) Batman v Superman. Personally, I have very little hope that they'll get this movie right as it, like other DC movies have been surrounded with more problems than you'd expect. However, we may be in for a treat when it comes to the finale. Speaking about how Bats and Supes square off, Crispo says“There’s a thought that Batman has no chance, that the Superman will squash him like a bug. But when you see the movie, and how it all comes out, there’s a very...

Dawn of Justice choreographer promises more proficient pugilist Batman. Guillermo Grispo, fight choreographer for Zack Snyder‘s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, has taken this assignment as an opportunity to right the one thing every film maker has gotten wrong, as he sees it, about Batman: no true demonstration of martial arts mastery. While [...]

According to a new report from Batman News, "Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice" fight and stunt choreographer, Guillermo Grispo, recently chatted with Spanish website, Los Andes Diario, and gave away some small details about the huge fight scene that will go down between Batman and Superman. He talked about how the fight sequence will make sense how it all comes about. He also talked a little about how he choreographed it and more. Here's what Guillermo had to say, verbatim when asked about it: " Look, at Warner Bros., they are very strict, so I can’t say much, but it’s no surprise if I say Batman and Superman come face-to-face in the movie. It’s one of the most important sequences and I was actively involved in the design of the fight: the exchange of punches and the physical movement were put together with my partner Ryan Watson.

Speaking to Los Andes Diario (via Batman News), Grispo said: "There's a thought that Batman has no chance, that the Superman will squash him like a bug.
"But when you see the movie, and how it all comes out, there's a very intelligent explanation as to why they would have a first-hand confrontation, though it seems to be totally to Batman's disadvantage."

For all of the hype and excitement surrounding Zack Snyder’s Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, one of the most pressing questions raised by fans at this early stage has been how the director will portray the inevitable clash between the two titular heroes. Sure, we all know that pitting The Caped Crusader against the Last Son of Krypton is the ultimate exercise in brains vs. brawn, but how exactly will Snyder capture such a monumental battle?
Well, thanks to fight choreographer Guillermo Grispo — who has collaborated with the director across 300, Sucker Punch and Man of Steel — we now have new details on the brawl in question.

Why the Batman and Superman showdown might not be the one-sided battle you may be expecting...
This piece contains small spoilers for Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice
Zack Snyder's Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice is the film that's effectively going to launch the first full phase of the DC movie universe for Warner Bros (following up on Man Of Steel in the process). And that's perhaps one of the main reasons why Batman and Superman have been brought together in the same movie, to give things a sizeable lift off.
Given the title of the film, it won't come as much surprise to learn that a fight between Batman and Superman is part of what Zack Snyder has in store for us. And in a new interview, fight and stunt choreographer Guillermo Grispo has been chatting about their showdown.
Grispo revealed that he nearly worked on The Dark Knight for Christopher Nolan,...

Ah, yes. The big fight. Ever since Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was announced (well, it was Batman vs Superman back then), fans have gathered around proverbial water coolers around the web to discuss how it would it wall play out. What happens when a mortal martial artist meets a demigod that loves punching things for a spirited round of fisticuffs? Will it be the central battle of the film? Will it be a short, fan service-y sequence that mainly acts as a build-up to other, greater developments?
Director Zack Snyder turned to his longtime fight choreographer, Guillermo Grispo, to put together the fights for Batman v Superman. The Argentinian recently sat down with the Los Andes Diario's Estilo section to shed some light on what drew him to the project, and how he approached putting together one of the most anticipated fights ever to appear on film.

The Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice fight scenes between its two leads will consist of a cocky billionaire going toe to toe with an alien who really doesn.t have any weaknesses at all - but apparently this won.t be as preposterously one-sided as one might think it would be. That.s according to Guillermo Grispo, who worked alongside director Zack Snyder to choreograph the blockbuster.s tussles. Grispo spoke to Los Andes Diaro, a Spanish website, about his efforts on Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice, and during the interview (translated by Batman-News.com) the choreographer revealed that Ben Affleck's Dark Knight will have a few tricks up his sleeve when it comes to his showdowns with Henry Cavill's Man of Steel. Grispo admitted that most moviegoers will assume that Batman/Bruce Wayne won.t stand much of a chance at all when it comes...

Batman-News have discovered an interview between Spanish website Los Andes Diario and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice stunt and fight choreographer Guillermo Grispo, and in it he reveals plenty of intriguing details about the highly anticipated 2016 movie. The site have put together a great translation, and more can be found by clicking on the link below. With the first teaser trailer rumoured to be on the way (possibly with Jupiter Ascending or Mad Max: Fury Road), hopefully we'll see at least some of that fight soon! Share your thoughts on these comments below. How was it to prepare the fights between Batman and Superman? I was fascinated. I’m telling you, for me, I like both of the characters, but Batman I really love. In 2007 I almost worked on the second part of Christopher Nolan’s trilogy, but ultimately questions about the contract were not resolved and it all...

Guillermo Grispo, a stunt and fight choreographer on "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," recently spoke with Spanish website Los Andes Diario (via Batman-News) and appears to have dropped some interesting details about the film and the key fight at its center.
Grispo says he almost worked on Christopher Nolan's "The Dark Knight" but the contract couldn't be resolved in time. On this film he prepared choreography for the stunt coordinator and second unit director, Damon Caro, and has worked on Snyder's "300," "Sucker Punch" and "Man of Steel".
This included "operating the camera for the action shot tests, doing the choreography, and afterwards all of the image composition for these kinds of sample action scenes". Asked what he can you tell us about the story, he says:
"It's no surprise if I say Batman and Superman come face-to-face in the movie. It's one of the most important sequences and...
