What does Tiger Woods have to say about recent tabloid reports that he's trying to win back ex-wife Elin Nordegren?
“I am not going to comment on my private life,” Woods told reporters at the Abu Dhabi Hsbc Golf Championship on Thursday.
Earlier this week, the National Enquirer published a story claiming that the disgraced golfer proposed to Nordegren again over the holidays. According to the gossip rag, Woods even offered the former Swedish model a $200 million pre-nup. She is reportedly considering the offer under one condition -- that he add a $350 million anti-cheating clause to the agreement.
"Tiger didn't even balk at the demand," an unnamed source reportedly told the Enquirer. "Even though his accountants think he's crazy, he's ready to sign the pre-nup and set a wedding date."

50 Girls 50 doesn’t try to be something it’s not. The title pretty well prepares you for what lies inside, and if this isn’t enough of a clue to what awaits the reader, then keep in mind this is Frank Cho’s new comic. Having taken on writing duties with Doug Murray, Cho turns over illustrating to his new protégée Axel Medellin. This is the latest new series from the very hot-right-now Image Comics, and the level of creator-owned talent they have working with them is just spectacular!
The series was originally announced back in the late summer/fall of 2009, and started with a talent search to find the artist who could best capture Cho and Murray’s vision for this story. Axel Medellin, kinda obviously at this point, was the winner. His other works include Elephantmen, and hailing from Mexico, his style incorporates the best of both American and European comic elements.

Dynamite Entertainment returned fans and readers to the worlds and characters of Stargate last month, with issue No. 1 of the Vala Mal Doran miniseries. This week, another character finds the spotlight, with issue No. 1 of .Stargate: Daniel Jackson.. Written by Doug Murray and illustrated by John Watson, this issue includes other characters from "Stargate: Sg-1," but sends Daniel on a mission only he can complete. A sergeant has returned to Stargate Command after a tour in Iraq, where he found a shard with part of an address. Daniel is sent to investigate, as this could lead to more artifacts that are actually from the Ancients. While there, naturally, he gets into trouble, but is rescued by the Daedalus. Daniel's findings lead him and Vala on a mission to steal a manuscript that ...

Boom! Studios has announced a comic starring Stargate character Daniel Jackson. Writer Doug Murray and artist John Watson envision the project as a modern homage to the scientist/soldier characters common in sci-fi and horror films of the '50s and '60s. "I wanted to put Daniel Jackson in a situation where he had to rely upon his own smarts and capabilities to solve an age-old problem while dodging many kinds of dangers," (more)...

Did you hear the one about the Scotsman who wrote a blog inviting Irish jokes and created a minor international incident? Douglas Murray is a journalist and political pundit who normally deals very ably with the joke that can be Britain's body politic. Now poor Douglas is in trouble with the Irish government and was labeled an "eejit" by an editorial in today's Irish Independent, all due to his repeating an absurd incident in which a local councilman in England had to pay an Irish person compensation for telling the following (very poor) joke: "A man walked into a Dublin bar and saw a friend sitting with an empty glass. 'Paddy can I buy you another', he asked; to which Paddy replied, 'now what would I be wanting with another empty glass?' " Douglas Murray, quite correctly, finds it ridiculous that the town...

When "Stargate Universe" premieres on SyFy this October, Dynamite Entertainment will already have three new comics series in the wings, aimed at both old and new viewers of the long-running franchise. Led by "G.I. Joe" writer Chuck Dixon, the new titles will launch with a "Universe" prequel tale featuring artist John Watson and cover artist Dave Dorman.
According to Dynamite President Nick Barrucci, the plan is for "three separate launches ... each designed to focus on the characters and attention coming the way of both the new show and 'Stargate Sg-1' and 'Stargate Atlantis'!”
The two accompanying series, based on "Sg-1" and "Atlantis" will be written by "Jungle Girl" scribe Doug Murray and "Battlestar Galactica" comics' Brandon Jerwa, respectively.
Originally launched with the 1994 Roland Emmerich film, the "Stargate" franchise has been remarkably resilient with its ability to spin off new TV series, including a prior comic book series at Avatar Press.

Joe Kubert is one of the legendary figures of the comic book industry, known as much for his famed art school as he is the artist of books like “Sgt. Rock” and “Hawkman.” He had narrowly missed World War II — and in fact one of his earliest jobs was working on “The Spirit” when Will Eisner was drafted — but in the early 50’s the creator’s number was called, and he joined the Korean conflict. The following interview is from 2001, where we discuss his wartime experiences, his involvement with war comics and…his connection to the Three Stooges? Yup. Read on, as we honor our fallen veterans.
You were in your teens in 1947. Do you remember where you were when Pearl Harbor was attacked?
I recall that rather vividly. I was in my early teens. I was born in 1926, so I was about 15 and was already working as a cartoonist.
