Kerry Katona has said that it would be "good fun" to play a part in an Atomic Kitten reunion. After knocking back reports that they would represent the UK at the Eurovision Song Contest, Liz McClarnon, Natasha Hamilton and Jenny Frost later confirmed plans for a series of summer gigs. Asked about the reports, one-time member of the girlband Katona told Heat: "I don't think anything's been set in stone, but I think it would be really good to see the girls back on stage, and obviously, if they invited me up it would be good fun." Of whether she could make a guest appearance with the band similar to Robbie Williams's temporary return (more)...

I must say, I was pretty disappointed in Jim Halpert during last week’s Halloween-themed episode of The Office, PopWatchers. John Krasinski’s Jim is usually so dependable when it comes to inspired, albeit sort of lazy, costumes. But instead of classics like Three Hole Punch Jim and Facebook (or, Bookface, if you will) we were treated — nay, tricked — into him teaming up with Kevin and Daryl to go as the Heat’s not-so-dreamy team. (Insert unamused Jim face here.)
Thankfully, perennial Halloween showstoppers like Heidi Klum and the gang at The Today Show left us with no such crushing disappointment.

The Cars 2 soundtrack. Are policemen getting younger? Is TV getting worse? Are kids getting stupider? Are movie soundtracks getting longer? Well, not longer per se – certainly not in the sense of the consumer getting more music for their increasingly hard-earned money (heaven forbid) – but rather bittily divided into ever greater numbers of individual tracks. One of last year’s best, Tron: Legacy powered through the 20-track barrier, and now the Cars 2 tie-in album arrives divided into an improbable 26 musical segments. And with five of those segments clocking in at less than 60 seconds, and a further five falling short of the 120 mark, it could be tempting to caricature the record as the cutesy answer to a Minutemen album.
Tempting but not really accurate, for the Cars 2 soundtrack isn’t as piecemeal as it might appear on first glance. Despite the epic track-listing (which surely has more to do...

A press release from Disney has announced the contents of the upcoming soundtrack release of Pixar’s Cars 2. Apart from 21 tracks of Michael Giacchino‘s original score, the album also includes a song written by the composer and performed by French singer/songwriter Bénabar. The song is called Mon coeur fait vroum (My Heart Goes Vroom) and is providing a musical introduction to Paris in the animation sequel. Also included on the soundtrack is the American alternative rock band Weezer, performing their own take of the 1984 pop hit You Might Think. Country superstar Brad Paisley, who was a major contributor to the first Cars soundtrack, returns with two new songs, including the duet Collisions of World, performed by Paisley and singer/songwriter Robbie Williams. Finally, the hit single Polyrhythm by the Japanese girl band Perfume is also featured on the release. The soundtrack will be released on June 14. To pre-order the album,...

Louie Spence has expressed his excitement at the return of Robbie Williams to Take That. The Pineapple Dance Studios star revealed in his weekly Heat column that he was a dancer on the boy band's 'Nobody Else' tour in 1995 when Williams first left the group. Spence said: "Hallelujah! Praise Kylie! I can't wait! I'm beside myself! They're back! All I can say is: about bloody time, too! "Just thinking about all of Take That together again gets my stomach churning like it's on a fast spin. You just know their comeback is (more)...
