Idrees Degas is a Shakesperean trained actor from Chicago who made his stage debut in the stage play "The Heritage" at The Goodman Theatre and "Ma Rainy's Black Bottom" at The Steppenwolf Theatre in Chicago. Idrees recently appeared in "Black Monday" a comedy drama starring Don Cheadle and Regina Hall for the network Showtime. Directed by Seth Rogen and he can also be seen on Veep with Julia Lewis Dretfus playing an African Military Dictator.

Idrees is a native of Hyde Park, Illinois (suburb of Chicago).
Idrees played baseball in high school on the varsity team as the pitcher but has the ability to play all positions. He also played at Morehouse College and was scouted by the Philadelphia Phillies during his Freshman year. He did play in AAA for the Philadelphia Phillies.
Idrees enjoys piano. At the age of 10, he was giving recitals playing the classical music of Beethoven, Bach, and Chopin.
