Matt Harding was born in Xenia, Ohio. He
first appeared onstage at the age of 10 and continued pursuing
stage work throughout his school years. This pursuit finally led him to
graduate Magna Cum Laude from Wright State University with a Bachelor
of Fine Arts in Acting. While at Wright State he played many roles
including Billy Flynn in Chicago opposite Nicole Scherzinger.
Following his graduation from WSU, Matt studied voice, speech and
dialect teaching at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London
where he had the good fortune to interact with likes of Cicely Berry
and Crispin Bonham Carter. After his work in the UK, he finished his
Master's in Theatre with an Emphasis in Voice and Speech at
Northwestern University where he coached many productions and played
Bob Ewell in Rives Collins' production of To Kill a Mockingbird.
Harding spent the next decade teaching and coaching at in the
Midwest and Chicago working with, in addition to his alma mater NU,
Indiana University, Roosevelt, Act One Studios, the Goodman, the Court,
IRT and several other schools and theatres in the area.
He continued to act with local companies playing the title role in
Macbeth and arranging the violence.
