The new trailer for director Harry Sparks' new fantasy film "The Blood of Red Riding Hood" hit online sites this week.
The controversial new movie tells the story of a German teenage named Rose who moves to America to live with her grandmother, who she loves, but faces being teased and ridiculed by students at school. Rose takes refuge in a book of tattered fairy tales, until she develops a crush on Nick, the most popular boy in school. Things then become complicated as the town of Hinsdale is then rocked by a series of gruesome murders.
The film is a bold, new take on an old fairy tale and features German actress Stefanie Giels playing Rose, Sativa Verte as Summer and Phil Gibson as Nick. It was filmed in Germany, Italy, Austria, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Virginia.

Writer/director Harry Sparks got in touch with info, exclusive photos and new posters (see ’em below) for his latest movie ROTKÄPPCHEN: The Blood Of Red Riding Hood. This horrific update of the classic fairy tale is currently in postproduction.
Stefanie Geils (first photo) stars as Rose, a German teenager who comes to America to live with her grandmother (Betty Biehler). Things don’t go so well when she begins attending the local high school, where she’s ridiculed by the other students; her only solace is an old book of fairy tales. She’s eventually befriended by sexy classmate Summer (Sativa Verte) and catches the eye of popular guy Nick (Phil Gibson)—thus earning the enmity of his girlfriend Bridgette (Nicole Leigh Vuono)—while something fierce and hairy starts bloodily killing the town’s residents.
