Taylor Swift recently had one of the most memorable reunions over the weekend as she welcomed Taylor Lautner, Joey King and Presley Cash onstage during her Eras tour in Kansas City, Missouri.
While King and Cash were already with Swift onstage, Lautner flipped his way to them.
“Didn’t plan the flip,” he explained. “It just felt right.”
The surprise visits happened after Swift premiered her “I Can See You” music video, in which Lautner, King and Cash appear. In Swfit’s Instagram post about the music video, she wrote that she had her “heart set” on the three starring.
“Taylor, thank you for having me and all of us,” Lautner said on Friday. “And I just want to say that I respect you so much. Not for the singer you are — the performer — but truly for the human you are. You are gracious, humble, kind and I’m honored to know you.

Taylor Swift performed “Last Kiss” as one of her surprise acoustic songs last night, July 8, during her second of two consecutive nights of her Eras tour at Geha Field at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. It was a fitting choice as she just released Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) on Friday and the breakup song hails from the original LP culled in 2010.

Taylor Swift and Taylor Lautner are reunited (professionally) and it feels so good. On July 7, Lautner backflipped his way on stage to surprise fans at the Kansas City, Mo stop along the Eras Tour. The duo's reunion came as Swift premiered the new music video for "I Can See You" - which stars Lautner, Joey King, and Presley Cash. King and Cash, who appeared in the music video for "Mean" back in 2011, also joined Swift and Lautner on stage.
In her introduction of Lautner, Swift acknowledged how much her ex was there for her when she first wrote the songs for "Speak Now." As reported by Variety, she told the crowd, "He was a very positive force in my life when I was making the 'Speak Now' album, and I want to say he did every single stunt that you saw in that music video. Taylor Swift has unveiled a new music video for “I Can See You (Taylor’s Version)” from her newly released album, Speak Now (Taylor’s Version). Watch it below.
The action-packed clip imagines Swift’s younger self locked inside of a vault. Joey King and Presley Cash, who previously appeared in Swift’s video for “Mean,” along with Swift’s one-time boyfriend, Taylor Lautner, join forces to break the singer out.
“I wrote this video treatment over a year ago and really wanted to play out symbolically how it’s felt for me to have the fans helping me reclaim my music,” Swift wrote in a tweet accompanying the video’s release. “I had my heart set on Joey King, Taylor Lautner and Presley Cash starring in it. Joey and Presley had been in the video for ‘Mean’ when they were 9 and 13 and they are back and so ridiculously bad ass!

Taylor Swift premiered the music video for “I Can See You,” one of the vault tracks from her new album, Speak Now (Taylor’s Version), live at a Kansas City stop in her Eras Tour tonight. The clip, directed by—who else?—Swift herself, stars Taylor Lautner and Presley Cash, who were also featured in the 2011 video for “Mean,” from the original version of Speak Now.
The action-packed “I Can See You” finds Lautner, Cash, and co-star Joey King helping Swift pull off a heist of her master recordings, a not-so-subtle nod to the singer’s ongoing crusade to reclaim ownership over her music by re-recording her past albums. Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) follows 2021’s Fearless (Taylor’s Version) and last year’s Red (Taylor’s Version).
