Scott Friedman is an award-winning composer, sound designer, mixer, and music producer. In 2007 he received an award for Best Composer (finalist) from the First Boards Awards. In 2019 he received a Best Original Song award by the Best Shorts Competition, for the song I Can't Lose You (written and performed by Poonam Basu) in a film titled Resolve. He has composed, mixed and designed sound for a total of 6 feature films, including Prisoner, starring Julian McMahon and Elias Koteas. While working for a two time Grammy winning, six time Clio winning Composer, Jeffrey Elmassian at Endless Noise, Scott composed, mixed and designed sound for commercials. He worked on two Super Bowl spots, as well as dozens of other commercials for companies such as: Nike, BMW, Adidas, Verizon, Sony, Audi, General Mills, Volkswagen, General Motors, etc. He has worked on 5 tv series, including Pipe Dream on The Golf Channel and Laury the Lousy Fairy on Dreamworks Animation. Scott has done music and sound work for many short films, as well as for various other projects, including: film trailers; a PBS online series for children; brand launches; producing, mixing, mastering for singer/songwriters; music video sound design for a grammy award winning artist; VR projects; TV show pilots; an online music series for Razer Blade Computers; volunteer sound work for political campaigns and charter schools.
