Jay is a dynamic entertainment executive with 25+ years of
invaluable experience and 100+ hours of programming. He's a New York native and an accomplished strategist, marketer, negotiator, and producer. His vision and expertise
have contributed to success in the TV/film, music, publishing, and
podcast industries.
He's worked with a bevy of urban entertainment outfits as well as fortune 500 companies and maintains a robust index of contacts that provide him with unparalleled access to a wide range of stories.
In 2006, he first broke into television as a Co-Producer on the nation's first syndicated hip hop poker series "Hip Hop Hold'em. He'd follow up with Executive Producer roles on two VH1 reality shows, "Luke's Parental Advisory" featuring Miami rap icon Luther Campbell, and "The Gossip Game" starring New York's Power 105.1 Breakfast Club co-host Angela Yee. Jay's most rewarding work came in 2017 as Senior Producer on Fox 's highly rated "Who Shot Biggie & Tupac" where he utilized his full repertoire of producer skills to recruit talent and interview subjects while helping to maintain authenticity.
Jay owns and operates Kyko Media, an independent production and consultant company for varying entertainment-related projects. Most recently he has gone on to produce 2 acclaimed crime series working with 44 Blue/Oxygen, "Real Murders of Atlanta S2" and "Sin City Murders S1".
He's currently working on S3 of "Real Murders of Atlanta" and developing a premium documentary and feature film on legendary New York street figure turned PhD Dr. Guy Fisher.
