Gotham Knights might look like an Arkham game, but the new action-adventure title is actually a completely new Batman adventure that even features a new cast of characters and voice actors.
We’ll have a lot to say about Gotham Knights in the coming days, but the quality of the game’s cast really is one of the game’s greatest assets. This is a slightly deeper dive into the Batman roster than we’re used to seeing in games, which means that the game gives us the chance to spend some time with some faces we’re not always used to seeing. Of course, it’s the voices of those characters as much as their faces that really sell how much they belong to be the stars of an unlikely Gotham adventure.
Before we dive into Gotham Knight‘s roll call, a brief word of warning. While this post...

[Editor’s Note: The following review contains light spoilers for “Jupiter’s Legacy,” but really just the end of the first episode.]
When Paragon smashed in Blackstar’s brain, he broke my brain, too.
The premiere of “Jupiter’s Legacy” ends exactly as expected: with a climactic battle between our newly introduced heroes and a seemingly unstoppable supervillain. Set high on a grassy hilltop safely away from innocent bystanders, dozens of caped crusaders use their respective powers to put down a raging behemoth baddie by the name of Blackstar (Tyler Mane). Lady Liberty (Leslie Bibb) tries flying at him really fast and ends up grounded, face first. The Flare (Tenika Davis) shoots fireballs that do less damage than a water balloon, and Tectonic (Stephen Oyoung) erupts the Earth under Blackstar’s feet, amounting to little more than a detoxifying mud-bath.
The scene serves as both a battle royale and a short-hand introduction to each hero’s abilities, but any grasp on...

A new rumor sprung up that states Sony is working on a new Spider-Man title within one of their first party studios.
The rumore comes from NerdLeaks via this tweet.
The tweet reads:
“It’s been too long since last leak. Here’s one. Sony is working at “Untitled Spiderman PS4 Project”.
PurePlayStation then followed up with another catch as a resume for Stephen Oyoung suggested he was working on an "unannounced Spider-Man title," but it was then removed after being discovered.
This is, after all, just a big rumor at this point with no credible sources to look at, but we do have some tidbits that could add fuel to the fire.
For starters Sony obviously owns rights to Spider-Man films, but that so far doesn't extend beyond the films. Sony gave up merchandise and TV rights when they bargained with Marvel to keep movie rights. That being said,...

Last summer, MTV News took a trip inside M. Night Shyamalan's mad-scientist brain when we visited the Philadelphia set of "The Last Airbender." The hyperkinetic director was in the midst of bringing "Airbender" out from the animated small screen and into real life, and the results were big, big, big — sets twice the size of football fields, massive green screens, hundreds of extras in elaborate costumes and a production budget two and a half times the size of any of his other movies.
"I'm scared to death," he admitted back then.
Yet, at the same time, Shyamalan knew exactly what he was doing. Now the results of that focused anxiety have arrived in theaters. Set in an imaginary world in which various tribes can...
