Chucky season 3 had to be split in half due to the writers and actors strikes, with the first four episodes (read our review Here) airing on Syfy and USA Network (as well as the Peacock streaming service) back in October. Production resumed at the end of November – and now it has been announced that the second half of the season will begin airing on April 10th! The announcement was made via a social media video made to look like a text exchange between Chucky the killer doll and series cast member Devon Sawa, and you can watch that at the bottom of this article.

Sorry, Devon – Chucky’s back! The first trailer for the upcoming third season of Chucky has arrived just two weeks after the initial teaser dropped.
With season three of Chucky just a few weeks away – and the iconic character scaring it up at Halloween Horror Nights – the trailer teases the return of fan favorite Devon Sawa and Jennifer Tilly, plus guest starring roles for SNL’s Sarah Sherman and Kenan Thompson.
As per Syfy: “In Chucky’s unending thirst for power, season 3 now sees Chucky ensconced with the most powerful family in the world — America’s First Family, inside the infamous walls of the White House. How did Chucky wind up here? What in God’s name does he want? And how can Jake, Devon, and Lexy possibly get to Chucky inside the world’s most secure building, all while balancing the pressures of romantic relationships and growing up? Meanwhile,...

This is it. The major death that ended last week’s episode of Don Mancini’s “Chucky” opened the floodgates, setting the stage for an epic conclusion to season two. All bets are off in the season’s penultimate episode, “Goin’ to the Chapel.” Reunions, revelations, and shocking deaths ensue when converging paths lead to an explosive final confrontation.
There’s a sense of finality to episode seven as nearly every character has reached their breaking point. Andy (Alex Vincent), Jake Wheeler (Zackary Arthur), Devon (Bjorgvin Arnarson), and Lexy (Alyvia Alyn Lind) want to put an end to Chucky’s murder streak once and for all. So do Kyle (Christine Elise) and Nica (Fiona Dourif), but not before they purge Chucky Prime from Nica’s body. To do that, they’ll all have to forge a temporary truce with Dr. Mixter (Rosemary Dunsmore) and the staff caught in the middle...

No one on the planet has spent more time with Chucky than Don Mancini, and that includes the longtime voice of the character, Brad Dourif. Since the very first "Child's Play" movie in 1988, Mancini has been the man in charge of telling the story of the doll possessed by Charles Lee Ray across seven movies and an entire season of television. Referring to him as "Chucky's daddy" is the understatement of the century, and with a second season of the hit series for USA and Syfy just around the corner, it's got Mancini thinking about some of his favorite moments with his Good Guy creation. It's hard to choose a favorite moment even as a fan (mine's when he showed up on WCW Nitro to harass Rick Steiner), but for Mancini, it's literally like asking a father to choose a favorite memory with his child.

A new "Chucky" season 2 trailer just dropped, revealing more evil antics from the Good Guy doll who has now haunted multiple generations of innocent kids thanks to several movies and the series from SyFy and USA. At some point, the people of this fictional universe should really band together to burn all of these dolls because the body count is getting ridiculous. Poor Jake Wheeler (Zackary Arthur) had no idea what he signing up for when he took home a random garage sale doll. Jake planned to use Chucky as part of an art project — little did he know that the vintage toy was possessed by the spirit of the long-dead serial killer, Charles Lee Ray. Within a matter of days, Jake's entire life was falling apart: his father was murdered, the authorities were eying him suspiciously and he was shipped off to live with family members who resented him.

Don Mancini, the creator of the "Child's Play" franchise and showrunner of the "Chucky" TV series, has confirmed that the show's second season will drop in 2022. The murderous doll, Chucky himself, had previously relayed a message through Mancini -- who warned, "Watch your backs in 2022" -- and it looks they're going to deliver on that tease this year.

If you asked me to name my favorite horror film franchise, I wouldn’t cite the usual suspects. My go-to slasher is a pint-sized ginger-haired terror in coveralls whose Good Guy exterior hides a killer underneath. Yep, Don Mancini’s “Child’s Play” series has terrified me, dazzled me, and given me many an opportunity to champion its progressive disability politics. So a series based around Chucky navigating Generation Alpha was always going to be my personal catnip, but thankfully it delivers.
Jake Wheeler (Zackary Arthur) has had a rough go of things. After the death of his mother, Jake’s father, Lucas (Devon Sawa), spends his days drinking and berating Jake for being gay and a loner. Jake wants to be an artist and his recent sculptures have focused on dolls, so when he spies everyone’s favorite possessed plastic creature at a yard sale, it gives Jake the opportunity to complete his latest piece.

It’s been 33 years since audiences first met serial killer Charles Lee Ray who transferred his soul into the Good Guy doll, Chucky. In that time, he’s been the star of several movies — and now a Syfy television series. Based on the trailer just released, Chucky might be getting too old for this, but audiences certainly aren’t.
“Chucky” looks to be both a spin-off as well as a continuation of the film franchise, with young Jake Wheeler (Zackary Arthur) finding Chucky (once again voiced by Brad Dourif) at a yard sale. From there, the doll sets out to wreck havoc and terrorize Hackensack, New Jersey once again. We also look to be going back in time to see how Charles Lee Ray became the serial killer he was prior to having his soul transferred into a very ugly piece of plastic.

After seven films and an ill-advised reboot, Chucky is set to deploy a new torrent of neighborhood carnage. The killer doll has gone through several reinventions over the years, but now that he’s back in the hands of original creator Don Mancini, he’ll find yet another unsuspecting family to terrorize in his very own TV series.
Chucky has certainly navigated a wild path to the small screen. Four-year-old Jake Wheeler (Leo James Davis) isn’t like the other kids who are applying for a spot at one of New York City’s ultra-competitive private pre-schools. For one thing, he’s a lot more developmentally advanced than most of them, his cognitive and fine-motor skills putting him in the 96th percentile for his age group. For another, he loves to wear frilly princess dresses and pretend that he’s Rapunzel when he plays with his friends. He owns not one, but two separate copies of “Enchanted” on DVD, and his favorite movie of all-time is “The Little Mermaid” (not that there’s all that much hyper-masculine cinema out there for toddlers).
Jake’s Park Slope parents, Alex and Greg (Claire Danes and Jim Parsons), are happy to indulge their son’s “gender-expansive play” in the privacy of their own home, but how should they handle this in public?...
