With nearly 40 years experience across television, film distribution & film production, Peter is a true veteran in the game.
Peter started working for the BBC as a graduate trainee. He was involved in a number of very successful shows including, Top of the Pops, The Two Ronnies, Pebble Mile at One and The Clothes Show, winning a number of RTS and other awards during his time.
In 1992 he formed his own production company with two partners and went on to write and produce a number of highly successful children's programmes such as Art Attack (winner of two BAFTA,s) Zzzap, TeleGanticMegerVision, Animal Crazy,
The company was acquired in 2000 by HIT Entertainment. Peter became Head of Production for the group and was responsible for some of the most successful children's television shows in the world including; Thomas The Tank Engine, Bob the Builder, Pingu, Fireman Sam and Barny the Dinosaur.
In 2005 and went into film distribution and production. He was appointed CEO of Metrodome Goup Plc, and was able to triple to size of the business during his time there. He also Produced two full length feature films Age of the Dragons and Age of Heroes. In 2013 he decided to set up his own production company (Star Pictures) which is now in active development of a number of Children's TV programmes and three full length feature films.
