As a young girl Sofia loved performing on stage and participated in
many productions in her community, including an educational film for
Stony Brook University. At Stagedoor Manor Performing Arts Center she
broadened her skills and discovered the joy of Directing. Sofia then
attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and Ithaca College
Theatre Arts program before heading out to Los Angeles to pursue the
Silver Screen.
Jamison parlayed a chance meeting into a decade-long tenure with
multiple Emmy-award winning Director Andy Sidaris and his producer wife
Arlene Sidaris. While working at Malibu Bay Films she was involved in
all phases of production and distribution on six feature films,
learning movie-making hands on. Sofia then forayed into children's
programming and distribution at Hollywood Ventures, playing a central
role in the Canadian television production 'The Big Comfy Couch' growth
to over 90% coverage on Public Television stations around the US.
With a multitude of passions, Sofia moved on to other pursuits
including marriage, motherhood and a successful private counseling
practice. Co-producing 'Homeskillet' has been a grand re-entry into a
creative field Sofia has loved for many years.
