When President Donald Trump complained last month that Senate Democrats were holding up his nominees in the midst of a global pandemic, he singled out Michael Pack as one of the figures whose confirmation had stalled.
Pack was his choice to lead the U.S. Agency for Global Media, which oversees a number of government-backed broadcasting outlets including the largest, Voice of America, along with other entities like Radio Free Europe and Alhurra.

Scottish rocker Jimmy Barnes has spoken of his shock at discovering he is the father of two grown-up daughters. The musician is dad to four children with his wife, Jane, as well as a son from a previous relationship, but recently found out he is also father to two daughters with two different women and only met the girls this year.

The "Cold Chisel" singer, who moved to Australia as a child, says, "My kids are all so great that when I found out there were a couple more, I felt they would be good people - and they're lovely girls."
