Hernán Zin is an Emmy and Grammy-nominated filmmaker, producer, writer, and war reporter of Italian-Argentinian origin. He has worked in more than 80 countries. His more than 35 films and series stream on platforms such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, NatGeo, Disney Plus, HBO, Canal Plus, Movistar Plus, RAI, Globo...
His productions have been recognized worldwide, winning major festivals like the Montreal Film Festival with "Dying to tell" in 2018. One of his latest films, "57 Days", co-produced with the NYT, was nominated for an Emmy Award in 2022. He has been nominated three times to the Goya Awards and has won twice the Forqué and Platino Awards with "Born in Syria", "Born in Gaza" and "Memory".
In 2002 he founded Doc Land, one of Europe's leading independent companies that produce films, shows, and commercials for channels, platforms, and brands worldwide. Based in Madrid, Doc Land has also offices in Dubai and LA. In 2021 he founded Pod Land, a new company aimed at creating podcasts for the Spanish-speaking audience that is currently producing 15 podcasts.
