There's a critical junction for a teenager when they must start deciding which path they want to follow for their future. Do they give up on their artistic dreams and settle on something perhaps more academic and career oriented, or do they pursue their passion? It's that question that skateboarder Thalente Biyela seems to face in this exclusive clip from the upcoming documentary "I Am Thalente." Directed by Natalie Johns, the film follows the seventeen year-old South African skateboarding prodigy who sees a world of opportunity arrive after video showing off his skills goes viral. Skate world figures like Kenny Anderson and Tony Hawk soon lend support to Thalente, providing him an opportunity to chase his dream of skating and competing in the U.S. And as you'll see in this scene, Thalente is rather humble in his observations about what lies ahead. "Marriage Boot Camp" is far from Tami's first (or last) foray into reality TV. She got her start over 20 years ago on "The Real World: Los Angeles," before going on to star on "Basketball Wives" in Miami, the current seasons of "Marriage Boot Camp" and "Wife Swap" and the upcoming season of "Basketball Wives L.A." "I honestly did not watch past Season 3, which was Puck and Pedro," Tami tells us when asked if she's seen what "The Real World" has devolved into. "I started my train into the acting world, I was a wife at the time, married to Kenny Anderson. So I wasn’t really concerned. Social media’s real big now, we didn’t have that then, but people are tweeting me ‘It’s not the same, I loved when you guys were on.’ So I don’t even feel the need to even tune in." She's...

The Legend of Zelda’s Link, Super Mario Bros.' Mario, and some other video game friends pull off some serious and some silly skateboarding tricks in this parody. The video was done by flatground skateboarding wizard and Kenny Anderson clone Christopher Chann, who is the one dressed up as Link. Chann pulled off an incredible upset in the first round of Battle at The Berrics 7, winning over former champ Chris Cole. The remix of the Legend of Zelda theme featured in the video was done by Fenzy Music.

Who doesn’t love an epic, overdramatic, ‘80s sports battle? I think every other film that came out of that era fit that bill. “Locals Only, Bro. No Kooks!” transports you back to the 1980s when the clothes were bright and baggy, the babes were bodacious, the boards were flat and wide, and street skating was still in its infancy.
The Back Forty Bros hit the beach for a battle of epic proportions. Rivals crews duke it out on boards while the affections of some bodacious babes hang in the balance!
The short film stars current street skating legends Marc Johnson, Kenny Anderson, Danny Montoya, Chris Roberts, and more. It’s funny seeing these amazingly talented skateboarders holding back so much to perform tricks that are either completely obsolete or overly simplistic by today’s standards.

20th Century Fox has given the green light to a comedy inspired by flamboyant forward Dennis Rodman's "basketball diplomacy" visit to North Korea last year. Titled Diplomats, the movie will be directed by Tim Story, who previously helmed Ride Along, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer and Barbershop. According to The Hollywood Reporter, screenwriter Jonathan Abrams has based the movie on the many antics Rodman carried out while in the country.

Dennis Rodman apologized Thursday for comments he made in North Korea about a detained American missionary, saying he had been drinking and was under pressure as he organized a game with former NBA players.
The former basketball star issued the apology through publicist Jules Feiler in an email message to The Associated Press, a day after he sang “Happy Birthday” to North Korean leader Kim Jong Un at the start of the friendly game.
Rodman has been slammed for not using his influence with Kim to help free Kenneth Bae, the missionary in poor health who is being confined in North Korea for “anti-state” crimes.

Dennis Rodman and a group of former NBA players are in North Korea to play basketball for Kim Jong Un’s birthday, being compensated for their appearances by one of the world's biggest despots. Today on CNN, Rodman had a major malfunction on camera. Kenny Anderson is one of the six former NBA players who accompanied Rodman on this trip with plans for a game against North Korean players on Wednesday — allegedly the birthday of the nation's leader, Kim Jong Un. Anderson is a father of seven kids with five different women. Also along for the trip was Cliff Robinson, Vin Baker, Sleepy Floyd, Doug Christie and Charles D. Smith. What they're making on this trip is a mystery,...

By some estimates, over half a million people play pick-up basketball in the playgrounds of New York each year. In Doin’ It in the Park: Pick-Up Basketball, filmmakers and pick-up basketball enthusiasts Bobbito Garcia and Kevin Couliau set out to create the most comprehensive document of New York City’s summer, outdoor pick-up basketball scene by visiting 180 courts throughout all five of the city’s boroughs. Shot in a breakneck 75 summer days during 2011, their debut documentary has an immediacy and intimacy that speaks to its homemade vibe, even amongst former and current NBA players like Kenny Anderson and Brandon Jennings, …...

Yes folks, it’s Tna PPV time again and we’ve had a look into our crystal ball to see who will be upsetting who and who has all the gold when the dust has settled.
Over the last few months we’ve seen the slow build of Robert Roode as a legit heel World Champion despite knowing in our heart of hearts that he’s only carrying the title while Tna build James Storm into the new Super-Face of the company. In the meantime he’s been feuding with on-air authority figure Sting, which leads us into yet another PPV main event starring a wrestler way beyond his prime despite a full roster of young talent that could put on a show stealing performance.
Robbie E and his TV Title Open Challenge.
I can’t believe Robbie E still has a job, or at least this horrendous gimmick. He...

Going into the second part of the Basketball Wives reunion, I didn't quite know what to expect. Sure, there'd be some screaming, some cursing, and maybe some talk of hoodrat-ness, but after the typical topics were touched on, what would we learn about season four? Would there be anything to take away from this reunion (and season three as a whole) aside from a headache and a seething dislike of Suzie?
Things weren't explicitly spelled out for season four, likely to start later this year, but we did get a few possible leads to tide us over until the next go-around.
One (or two) ladies will sashay away:
The big news that leaked this week, briefly mentioned at the end of the reunion, was the Meeka (and possibly Royce) will be off the show come season four. It's not a surprise, per se, as Meeka didn't make the grandest entrance...

Since 1995, Scottish indie-folkie Kenny Anderson has self-released more than 40 albums on his own Fence Records under the name “King Creosote,” and has periodically polished up some of the best material for release on other labels. Thrawn marks the first official Stateside King Creosote release, and it’s a compilation of the best of that best: songs like the snappy, board-game-inspired “You’ve No Clue Do You,” the honking, music-hall-ish “Bootprints,” and the solemn, churchly “The Vice-Like Gist Of It.” King Creosote’s music shares some of the inventive, kitchen-sink quality of early Badly Drawn Boy and some of ...
