- Phillip went to High School in Cedarville, Arkansas where he was active in sports and started three years for the varsity basketball team. After graduation, he did not plan to attend college, but ended up at Westark Junior College in Fort Smith, AR where he received an Associate degree. During this time he received offers to play basketball at several small colleges in Arkansas and Oklahoma. He ended up enrolling at five colleges, Westark, Northeastern Oklahoma State University, John Brown University, University of Arkansas-Little Rock, and the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville before graduating in 2005 from the UA with a law degree and passed the bar exam in 2006. Between high school and college he ran several very good 60m times in open track meets, and tried out for semi-pro basketball teams, and took up the sport of tennis. He also enrolled in drama classes at some of the various universities he was enrolled, and worked with his mother and father who were involved in drama and acting. Also, very interested in horse racing, writing several instructional papers for better handicapping methods during college. His favorite class during college was Russian studies at the University of Arkansas. He still loves horse racing, sprinting and playing basketball. Has a supporting role in "Eight Ways to Eat a Werewolf, Nine Ways to Die", an independent drama about a young person murdered and mutilated because of a rare genetic problem called "werewolf disease" and how family and friends cope with the loss. The film is planned for filming in Arkansas in the fall and winter of 2007. Phillip also enjoys going to boxing matches and other sporting events with his family, spending time at home and reading a variety of books including "graphic novels" (Bleach, Naruto, Inuyasha, and Death Note among others).
