We can confidently predict a documentary is forthcoming on ‘90s TV psychic Miss Cleo.
Nonfiction entertainment studio Xtr and production company Majority announced they are in production on a film about the famed tarot card reader, who became the centerpiece of a billion-dollar fraud investigation. Award-winning filmmaker Senain Kheshgi is directing the documentary about a woman who became a ubiquitous television presence in ads offering to tell people’s fortunes through a pay-per-call number.
Miss Cleo purported to be a Jamaican soothsayer, but the person under the turban in fact was Los Angeles native Youree Dell Harris, a sometime actress and playwright hired to embody the gifted psychic.
“Claiming to be a shaman from Jamaica, Miss Cleo’s charisma and famous imperatives enabled the Psychic Readers Network, a pay-per-call service, to charge callers seeking answers over $1 billion for advice,” Xtr noted. “But in 2002 it all came crashing down when the...

People don’t always have the chance and opportunity to turn their hobby into a full-time job, but British model India Wadsworth, who was discovered by a scout at age 14 while shopping in London with her mother, is doing just that with her break-out performance as The Warlord’s Daughter (which is speculated to be a cover for Talia Al Ghul) in this summers’ The Dark Knight Rises.
In the final installment of screenwriter-director-producer Christopher Nolan’s acclaimed Batman trilogy, Batman (Christian Bale), has turned from hero to fugitive after taking the blame for the death of D.A. Harvey Dent. In the eight years since the D.A.’s crimes, the Dark Knight sacrificed everything for what he and Commissioner Gordon (Gary Oldman) both hoped was the greater good.
But evil and crime has returned to Gotham City with the arrival of Catwoman, a cunning cat burglar with a...

Thank goodness, a Talia al Ghul rumor! It's been way too long since we've seen one of those. Everybody knows about Bane and Catwoman, but Talia is one of the other possible spoilers in the "Dark Knight Rises" villain mix. Marion Cotillard insists she's not playing the daughter of the League of Shadows leader, but compelling evidence suggests that Talia has a role to play in "Rises" in some way, shape or form.
Add another rumor to that particular pile, then: IGN got their hands on publicity materials for model and actress India Wadsworth, who has a role in "Rises" that's sure to fan the Talia fires. Some possible spoilers ahead.
According to the publicity materials IGN received, Wadsworth is playing "The Warlord's Daughter." But her official resume says she's playing "Mother." Speculation about her real role in the film ranges from playing Talia herself to Talia's mother. I like the latter possibility more,...

IGN has received plublicity material for model/actress India Wadsworth that describes her role in The Dark Knight Rises as "The Warlord's Daughter." Of course the proper assumption from there is that India is playing Talia al Ghul, Ra's al Ghul's daughter (Liam Neeson). But when they looked at her official resume it said that her role is that of a "Mother." IGN has speculated that she could be Talia, or Talia's mother, or perhaps even Bane's mother. I tend to believe that she is playing the role of Talia al Ghul's mother and here is why. Let's start with the fact that two people have come forward and said that a young Talia al Ghul is in the movie. First we had a mother state that her daughter dropped out of contention for the role because it required the actress to shave her head. Then Joey King confirmed in...
