- (October 10-12, 2014) Michael appeared as a Media Guest at The Living Dead Fest in Evans City, PA; along with George A. Romero and many other fellow 'living dead' film alumnus; in celebration of the 46th Anniversary of "Night of the Living Dead" (1968) and for the re-dedication of the Evans City Cemetery Chapel which was featured in the opening sequence of the original film.
- Michael decided to study Law in 2008 specializing in entertainment, intellectual property (copyrights, trademarks and patents) and defamation law shortly after he had one of his copyrighted photographic works infringed upon and subsequently plagiarized by another. A pre-suit agreement was reached and the case settled out of court. As a direct result of this particular experience, it was then that Michael decided to study this type of Law in an effort to help better serve and protect the creative works and the proprietary interests of his clients.
- Michael was the proud sponsor of the Endless Addiction Car Club from 2004-2008 in Charlotte, County, Florida.
- Michael has owned a 1969 Cadillac 'Superior' Hearse since 1989. Aside from making it available as a rental to local funeral directors and limousine companies, the hearse was also featured as a 'picture car' in the films Phantasm III: Lord of the Dead (1994), My Girl 2 (1994) and Kingdom Come (2001).
- In 2000, Michael helped his longtime friend, Tommy Von Voigt [aka Tommy Shameless] and his band, 'Anti-Anti'; produce their first bubblegum punk CD entitled, 'Slumber Party Massacre'.
- Michael has been friends with Kyra M. Schon [who played 'Karen' in 'Night of the Living Dead' in 1968] since 1979. In 1995, he videotaped her wedding as a gift. Ms. Schon is a middle school art teacher in Pittsburgh, PA.
- Michael is also friends with another 'walking dead movie' veteran, Valerie Mamches who played 'Val' in Children Shouldn't Play with Dead Things (1972). Ms. Mamches is an Acting Teacher in Seattle, WA.
- Michael is friends with actor and producer Kevin Allesee. Michael and Kevin are both Alumnis of Port Charlotte High School in Charlotte County, Florida.
- In 1991, Michael interviewed Richard Carpenter of the pop duo 'The Carpenters', regarding their authorized biography; which was previously made into a movie entitled The Karen Carpenter Story (1989).
- Michael has also become friends with character actor Lin Shaye, who more recently has played 'Nurse Maleva' in the Chillerama (2011) segment 'I Was a Teenage Werebear' and 'Elise Rainier' in the supernatural chiller, Insidious (2010), directed by James Wan; and Michael Kenworthy who played 'Jesse Wilson' in Return of the Living Dead II (1988) and 'Kevin Penny' in The Blob (1988).
- Michael is currently working as a talent agent to Michael Kenworthy who played 'Jesse Wilson' in Return of the Living Dead II (1988) and 'Kevin Penny' in The Blob (1988). (August 2011)
- [August, 2011] Michael recently auditioned for bit parts on future episodes of the television shows House (2004) for Fox and The Good Wife (2009) for CBS in an effort to further broaden his experience as an actor on network television.
- Michael appeared at Zombicon, 2012 in Fort Myers, Florida to reunite with Day of the Dead (1985) cast members Joseph Pilato, Gary Howard Klar and Terry Alexander; along with special guests Madison Lintz from Seasons 1 & 2 of The Walking Dead (2010) and actor Sal Lizard Hillbilly Bob Zombie (2009). - Michael resides in Florida where he owns and operates his own multimedia business, providing his regular clients with business support services and the periodic coordination of talent for the entertainment and reenactment fields. Michael is also an intellectual property consultant, which consists of helping his clients obtain copyrights and trademarks on their intellectual properties and original inventions. Michael is also currently studying to become a lawyer specializing in the fields of Entertainment Law, Intellectual Property Law and Defamation Law. When his time permits, Michael also mentors young adults and tries to help those who are economically disadvantaged find jobs and affordable legal advice and representation. (July 2010)
