It appears that Peter Kraus, Rachel Lindsay’s runner-up on “The Bachelorette” Season 13, won’t get a second shot at TV-endorsed romance anytime soon. “The Bachelor” creator Mike Fleiss tweeted a message on Thursday that did not mention Kraus by name but appeared to be a clear sign that the show’s producers are not considering him as its lead for Season 22. “Do we really want a Bachelor who isn’t ready to settle down with a woman he loves?” Fleiss wrote. “Hmmm. Not what #thebachelor is all about…” Also Read: 'Bachelorette' Rachel Lindsay Talks Emotional Finale Breakup: Peter Gave Me 'Enough to String.

The Mindy Project doubled up on the episodes last night, and it also doubled down on Mindy and Danny.
When we left off all the way back in January (!), Mindy and Danny were sitting in a tree kissing on a plane. Tonight, we returned to the scene of the big kiss, with sexy Danny sexily breathing while he sexily told Mindy she had three seconds to sexily kiss him back. Sexy. #Sexiness. So much sexiness on this show tonight!
I would have returned the kiss on the count of one, but Mindy took a moment, but when Danny said “four...

Last week we launched the inaugural Guardian Film Awards. Now, we're taking a closer look at the longlist in each category. Today: best director
• Vote here
As longlists go, this one is probably our most conventional, yet also the one that has least overlap with traditional awards' shortlists. The nominees for best director at this year's Oscars, for instance, are David O Russell for American Hustle, Alfonso Cuaron for Gravity, Alexander Payne for Nebraska, Steve McQueen for 12 Years a Slave and Martin Scorsese for Wolf of Wall Street; while the Globes were identical other than swapping Paul Greengrass (Captain Phillips) for Scorsese. The only two of those who feature on our list are Payne and McQueen.
Here's more info on who we picked, plus some key names not on the list. Do chip in with your thoughts below.

This week on "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," we saw several things I never expected to see. One, Peter gave Apollo advice, and it didn't suck. Two, NeNe gave Cynthia parenting advice, and it also didn't suck. And finally three, fiercely independent Kandi turned into a puddle of spineless goo when confronted with a difficult situation, which did, in fact, suck. But hey, if everyone insisted on behaving themselves with such exceptional reserve, this was going to turn into a Very Special Episode of "Downton Abbey" or something. Apollo and Phaedra are still in the midst of a fairly silly argument...

Can Robert Buckley become a series regular on "Hart of Dixie?" There was just something so unbelievably likeable about his character Peter, who showed up during Monday (Oct. 28) night's all-new episode, "Help Me Make It Through the Night," and we don't judge Lemon one bit for her one night stand with the guy she just met. He was charming, adorable, funny, sweet, and said all the right things to remind Lemon that she was a catch ... regardless of what Grandma Betty said.
So how did Lemon meet her hero? After being blacklisted from the fancy Halloween soiree in Mobile thanks to her denouncement of the Bluebell Belles, Lemon was desperate for an invitation. After checking her ego at the door and begging an unwavering Cricket for an invite, Lemon was forced to call her grandma, who was described as the Don Corleone of the southern social party, the President of...

Ahead of the release of F1 biopic Rush, we chat to co-star Daniel Bruhl about playing the legendary driver Niki Lauda...
Spanish-born German actor Daniel Brühl has been something of an indie cinema darling for a decade, now, following his breakthrough in the delightful Goodbye, Lenin in 2003. He came to the wider attention of English-speaking audiences with a superb turn in Inglourious Basterds, but 2013 looks to be the year in which he'll announce himself as a major, and prominent, talent. Later this year he plays Wikileaks spokesman Daniel Domscheit-Berg alongside Benedict Cumberbatch in The Fifth Estate, and it's also being rumoured that he'll be appearing in Michael Winterbottom's The Face of An Angel, based on the Amanda Knox murder trial.
Before all of that, though, comes his turn as 1970s racing driver Niki Lauda in Ron Howard's enthralling biopic Rush. Brühl's performance is dazzling,...
