The Cannes Croisette has been busy with receptions, parties, pop ups, dinners and the hustle and bustle of celebrities trying to get to the red carpet. Because fashion and film are entwined in a relationship that’s stronger than ever before, film festivals like Cannes are filled with fashion brand events that extend the style conversation beyond the flamboyant clothes of the red carpet. This year, brands from Saint Laurent, Lanvin and Dior to Michael Kors and Kilian Paris have all been having parties bringing together friends of their respective houses all amid the city’s celebration of film.
On Wednesday night, May 22, fragrance brand Kilian Paris hosted a star-studded party at a restaurant-turned-nightclub, where the brand launched its newest scent Sunkissed Goddess. Kilian Hennessy, the founder of Kilian Paris, greeted guests and posed for photos with them. Attending the party were Kelly Rowland (who had previously had a tense...

Originally from New Jersey, Burke took his career to new heights at a young age while working in nearby New York City, and has since opened restaurants all over the world, from the United States to Saudi Arabia.
Of course, during that time, fans became familiar with Burke from his appearances on TV shows like Top Chef and Iron Chef America. But after spending time on both, Burke revealed he prefers the former.

As Miami’s 2024 Pegasus World Cup drew to a close with a $3 million win by champion thoroughbred National Treasure and a DJ set by Calvin Harris, the post-race buzz was about how the event will spin off into a West Coast version at Santa Anita racetrack this fall. The California Crown, taking place Sept. 28, will be the first entertainment-driven thoroughbred racing event at the historic grounds with The h. wood Group and track-owner 1/St partnering.
“You’ll see some things that are similar to what we do at Pegasus. We will bring together music, entertainment and fashion, but it’ll be more of a vintage Hollywood vibe,” says Belinda Stronach, chairwoman and CEO of 1/St, a technology, entertainment and real estate development company centered around thoroughbred racing and pari-mutuel wagering. 1/St also owns Miami’s Gulfstream track and Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore, Maryland, home of the Triple Crown’s Preakness Stakes.

Alain Ducasse has accumulated more Michelin stars than nearly any other chef alive, spreading his savoir faire to dozens of restaurants across the planet while also operating several cooking schools, a cacao plantation, a caviar farm (yes, that exists) and even propelling his haute cuisine creations up to the International Space Station.
There’s nothing the man hasn’t conquered, at least in terms of our taste buds, and after watching Gilles de Maistre’s hagiographic documentary The Quest of Alain Ducasse (La Quete d’Alain Ducasse), it’s easy to understand why. Relentless in his pursuit of perfection as he globetrots from one two...

While visiting Paris in honor of Bastille Day, President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump dined with French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte Macron in one of the most high-end venues the city has to offer — Le Jules Verne.
The one-Michelin-star restaurant on the second floor of the Eiffel Tower is known offering two prix-fixe tasting menus — five courses for $216 a person and six courses for $262 a person — and treated the foursome to a special six-course meal, according to CBS News White House correspondent Mark Knoller.

The Real co-host Adrienne Bailon and gospel singer Israel Houghton wanted to make sure their guests were well fed at their recent Paris wedding.
In fact, the planning of the menu for the celebration started the day after their August engagement.
“We were having a grand breakfast with my parents at Alain Ducasse’s restaurant ,” Bailon tells People. “I was looking at the chandelier and said to Israel, ‘I wonder if they do weddings here?’ Within five minutes he had the event coordinator in the room ready to take us on the tour to show us around and right then and there we booked venue.

During this time last season, I, too, was in Luca's position, and I selected Becky, putting Josh and Frank together on the opposing team. We were tasked to make a three-course dinner for, not only the judges, but three additional kings of the culinary world: Guy Savoy, Daniel Boulud, and Alain Ducasse.

Joe Bastianich is a successful restaurateur, vineyard owner and author of the memoir Restaurant Man. He's also a judge on MasterChef, which challenges home cooks to prove they can cut it in top professional kitchens. I'll say this for MasterChef: it certainly knows how to raise its fresh Wal-Mart stakes.
Rather than artificially escalating the team challenge by making the contestants prepare dozens of plates -- I half expected to see our top four aboard a viking warship this time -- MasterChef wisely eschews spectacle for substance this week, inviting three guest judges to share a table with Gordon, Graham and Joe.
These guests include Gordon's Parisian mentor Guy Savoy, New York icon Daniel Boulud, and the highly decorated Alain Ducasse. The judges are the only audience this week, ensuring that only the most skillful chefs survive.

Forbes' new list of top-earning chefs for the last 12 months features plenty of names you'd expect. Loudmouthed UK toque Gordon Ramsay stands head and shoulders above the rest with a whopping $38 million a year. Rachael Ray and Wolfgang Puck round out the top three with $25 million and $20 million respectively.
We have to say, though -- Guy Fieri cracked the top ten? The Food Network star pulled in a $8 million last year, ahead of list no-shows Anthony Bourdain, Andrew Zimmern and Giada Delaurentis. That figure might have something to do with the fact he's Food Network's biggest star at the moment, according to Forbes. His show "Diners Drive-Ins and Dives" is shown up to eight times a day on the network, plus he stars in "Guy’s Big Bite," "Rachael vs. Guy Celebrity Cook-Off" and "Food Network Star." Now that you've heard the news about Top Chef Canada's second season, you're probably wondering the same thing we are -- just who are these chefs?
The contestants come from across Canada, representing almost every food background imaginable. Well, except for the East Coast, which will be sorely missed after Todd Perrin's inventiveness last year. Here's what the Huffington Post Canada found out about these 16 chefs who will be competing on Food Network Canada starting March 12.
Chef: Joel Aubie, 27, of Tofino, BC (originally from Bathurst, Nb)
Aubie currently works as the head chef at Shelter restaurant in Tofino, having worked his way up since its opening in 2007. As a restaurant on the edge of the coast's famous beach, he focuses on seafood, with an emphasis on local and organic ingredients. He might just find it a challenge cooking from Loblaws' shelves during the competition.
