Ending the year in signs is the hilarious, adventurous, sharp-tongued era of Sagittarius.
There’s truly nothing like them. They are quirky, mysterious and full of life. While they naturally grab the attention in the room, they feel most comfortable when they’re in their lonesome.
Sagittarius is the jack-of-trades sign; the sign that takes up space in every all industries — whether they be an actor, comedian or a bus driver — their versatility allows them to do it all. And that flexibility helps fuel their “I’ll try anything once” mindset. To them, what is life if you’re not living it to your fullest? The only thing you have to beware of is their slick mouth. Between Sagittarius, Virgo and Aries it’s hard to tell which sign is more brutally honest. Truly, to know Sagittarius is to love them. And if you don’t love…it doesn’t...

In the cinematic realm where storytelling prowess is essential, Ruined, directed by Tamara Bass and penned by Michelle Valentine, stumbles as it attempts to traverse the convoluted terrain of love, revenge, and suspense. Despite its promising premise, the film falls flat, leaving viewers with an unsatisfying aftertaste due to lackluster performances, uninspiring chemistry, and a failure to adequately delve into the characters’ motivations. The film takes audiences on a tumultuous journey through the lives of Landon and Olivia Richards, a couple whose marriage and individual dreams are entangled in a web of worldly aspirations, secrets, heartache, and the chilling intentions of a vengeful specter.
The crux of the film revolves around Liv and Landon Richards, portrayed by Annie Ilonzeh and Chris Warren, respectively. Landon embodies the quintessence of success as an accomplished Ob-gyn, steering his own medical practice that especially caters to black women. Despite this, however, he desperately wants...

Pusha T made a surprise appearance at Phoenix’s set at Paris’ We Love Green festival on Saturday, June 3, to debut a new verse to “All Eyes on Me,” a track off last year’s Alpha Zulu.
The special cameo came at the end of a Phoenix medley that interpolated “If I Ever Feel Better” and the part “Funky Squaredance” that’s reminiscent of the crushing chord progression from Pink Floyd’s “Have a Cigar.” From there, the band transitioned into “All Eyes on Me,” and Pusha T took the stage.

Nelly Headlining ‘Hot In Herre’ Festival In Toronto, Featuring Akon, Ja Rule & More 2000s Throwbacks
Nelly has announced his first-ever “Hot In Herre” music festival, full of nostalgic throwbacks.
Nelly loaded the festival with a list of classic and timeless artists from the 2000s, including Ne-Yo, Akon, T.I., Fat Joe, Rick Ross, Ja Rule, Chingy and Keri Hilson. Seeing as Nelly was Billboard’s third biggest artist of the 2000-2010 decade, it makes sense why the rap icon would highlight the decade.
The festival will take place in Toronto at Downsview Park on June 24, 2023. In a recent press release, he explained why he chose the 6ix for the festival’s location and how much it means to him to perform in the city.

If you look at the 2023 Grammy nominations in the general field, you’ll notice the absence of one of today’s top genres: country music. Despite being one of the most consumed genres in the United States right now, country artists failed to get a nomination. A few American Roots artists did like Bonnie Raitt, Brandi Carlile, and Molly Tuttle, but no country album is nominated for Album of the Year, nor is any country song or artist nominated elsewhere in the big four. This genre snub includes one of the most surprising omissions of the year: buzzy new artist Zach Bryan missing Best New Artist. Indeed, it’s very weird to see Bryan miss in such a wild Bna race, especially to the likes of lesser-known artists you’d think would have less of a shot. But the truth is, country in general hasn’t been the best in terms of general field love.

‘Tis’ the season to be Ne-Yo. The hitmaker already gifted us performances on The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration show and released “Everyday Is A Holiday,” a bonus track from the “Another Kind of Christmas (Deluxe Edition)” album. The star is currently flexing his acting chops in not only season 3 of Step Up but two festive movies. First as a billionaire widow in The Sound of Christmas and then reuniting with a loaded cast including onscreen wife-to-be Keri Hilson for VH1’s Hip Hop Family Christmas’ upcoming followup Hip Hop Family Christmas Wedding. And that’s not even counting returning to the judge’s chair for the new Netflix reality competition series Dance Monsters. Needless to say, the well-versed entertainer is closing out 2022 strong. In between tour stops, Ne-Yo caught us up on all his projects. How was it getting the call that Jayson and Jessica’s love...

The Grammy for Best New Artist can be a double-edged sword. The award has been associated with a certain “curse” where winners in the category tend to fade away from the public consciousness rather quickly, especially in comparison to their fellow nominees. With a recent coronation of yet another Best New Artist, Olivia Rodrigo, I think it’s time to truly reevaluate whether the award is really a kiss of death. Let’s specifically take a look at the 2010s and onward.
A couple of winners fall into the “genre favorite” category, where the winning artist didn’t become a huge crossover star but still enjoys success in their particular field. For example, the 2010s opened with a win for country group Zac Brown Band. A lot of people mark their win with an asterisk, since that year’s breakout superstar, Lady Gaga, was deemed ineligible due to a Grammy...

Twilight’s high school heartthrob has became an indie mainstay but will his newfound niche survive after he takes on the role of Batman?

Bring this to Broadway! On CBS' The Late Late Show Monday, James Corden and Ariana Grande adapted James Cameron's Titanic into a musical, assuming the roles of Jack Dawson and Rose DeWitt Bukater. Early on, Corden told fans, "Tonight, we've got 13 songs, nine sets, one take and zero pressure." Using popular songs to set the scene, Corden and Grande spent the next five minutes telling a love story that would certainly make O.G. stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet proud. Watch as the duo performed Styx's "Sailing Away," Hall & Oates' "Rich Girl," Timbaland, Keri Hilson, D.O.E. and Sebastian's "The Way I Are," Foo Fighters' "Learn to...

Cardi B name-drops Beyoncé no fewer than four times on her album Invasion of Privacy. But instead of being flattered, Beyoncé, 36, is feeling threatened by the rising rap star, 25. "Bey is worried about being dethroned by Cardi," an insider tells Life & Style. "She’s been complaining to [her husband] Jay-Z that Cardi is going out of her way to outshine her." Whether she’s trying to or not, Cardi doing some outshining. Beyoncé previously held a record-breaking 12 songs in the Billboard Hot 100 at once, but Cardi surpassed that with 13 songs in April. "Cardi’s career is goin from strength to strength," the insider notes. "Beyoncé is all smiles when she runs into Cardi, but behind closed doors, she’s worried." (Photo Credit: Getty Images) The singers nearly had a conflict in April, when Bey fired about 20 of her backup dancers and Cardi reportedly looked into hiring some of them for her Coachella performance.

Coachella? More like Beychella. Beyoncé took to the stage during the first weekend of Coachella music festival and put on a performance of epic proportions. However, between her intense shimmying and shaking, the 36-year-old almost had a major wardrobe malfunction as the strap on her camo custom-designed Balmain bodysuit came loose at the beginning of her hit, "Get Me Bodied." Thankfully, she caught it, but that still didn't stop fans on Twitter from noticing the slip and praising the way she handled it. Watch the video to see Beyoncé's near disastrous wardrobe fail. "Good morning to everyone except the [person] responsible for Beyoncé's wardrobe malfunction," one Twitter user wrote. Another said, "The wardrobe devil tried to sabotage our grand finale but Beyoncé cannot be defeated so somebody's getting fired, hey hey!" Welcome to Beychella! After pulling out last year due to her pregnancy, Queen Beyoncé strutted her way to the Coachella stage on April 14 for a magical and unforgettable performance. The singer made history as the first black woman to headline the music festival — but she wasn't alone, as she was joined by dozens of backup dancers, a marching band, husband Jay-Z, and Destiny's Child members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams. “I am so excited to see the BeyHive tonight at Coachella,” Beyoncé tweeted prior to the show. "We have been working hard and have a special show planned for you so please be safe and stay hydrated. We need your energy! There will be an hour intermission before my performance, so mark your spot, charge your phones, grab your drinks. Can't wait to see y'all at 11:05pm!" Life & Style has learned that Beyoncé has talked to former bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams about a Destiny’s Child reunion. “Initial conversations started around Christmas,” a source explains. “Kelly and Michelle have been sworn to secrecy.” Bey is a headliner at the Coachella music festival in April, but she decided against doing the reunion there. “Bey feels that a reunion should be all about them,” the source says. “She sees this as something special.” So now Beyoncé, 36, and Kelly and Michelle, both 37, are targeting the summer for one or more big shows. “The girls have stayed tight,” the source adds. “They’re all on board.” For more on this, pick up the latest issue of Life & Style — and for more exclusive content sign up for our newsletter! Historically speaking, people are almost always blown away by celebrities who decide to take on the honor of belting out “The Star-Spangled Banner” at high-profile events. (Never forget Whitney Houston’s chill-inducing performance at Super Bowl Xxv in 1991.)
That being said, there have also been a handful of times singers’ renditions didn’t go over well with audiences, like Fergie’s jazzy take at the 2018 NBA All-Star Game, which prompted Lol-worthy reactions from celebrity attendees and Twitter users.

One star whose evaluation has yet to appear from the hot take factory is Robert Pattinson, who features in two theatrical releases this April, Werner Herzog’s Queen of the Desert (quickly dumped in theaters and VOD over two years after its 2015 Berlin premiere) and James Gray’s The Lost City of Z. Pleasant, if not completely convoluted with too many characters and not enough development with any, the family ensemble comedy Almost Christmas is well-meaning and not without its moments, as recycled as they are. Written and directed by David E. Talbert, the film is slightly more insightful than his 2013 feature Baggage Claim, even if it’s equally as trite.
Set in a Birmingham, Alabama that looks a lot like that Mecca of generous production tax incentives, Atlanta, the film leisurely strolls through the years in the life of the Meyers family and its patriarch Walter (Danny Glover).
