Last August, a contest was held to find the 26th director of ABCs of Death 2, with all entrants tasked with making short horror films centering around a word beginning with the letter "M."
Though he didn't win, filmmaker Sergio Morcillo impressed with his entry M is for Metamorphose, which is soon headed off to the festival circuit. Read on!
Now being referred to simply as Metamorphose, Morcillo says that he's expanded upon the short and added more blood and terror to it, in preparation for its festival unveiling. The film is set to tour festivals around the world in the coming months, and Morcillo is referring to it as a loving ode to the recent string of brutal French horror flicks.
In Metamorphose, we get into the skin of a young girl who suffers a terrifying experience deep in the forest, the bloody reality of which exceeds your worst nightmares.
