Every time you change the channel, it seems that another primetime network has revamped another classic for the small screen — and sometimes, to viewers’ displeasure.
After this week’s Dirty Dancing remake, which, well, wasn’t a fan favorite, we’re taking a look back at what the Internet has had to say about the rest of the primetime musical adaptations, from the low to high notes.
8. Dirty Dancing
The latest addition to the primetime lineup of musical remakes was a little different. ABC’s Dirty Dancing wasn’t technically a musical, and it wasn’t live, as many of the revamps have been.

First, President Donald Trump declared April Sexual Assault Awareness month—to howls from those who recalled his own alleged record of sexual assault. Now, days later, it is Trump’s defense of Fox News anchor Bill O’Reilly, amid revelations that it took $13 million to settle sexual harassment claims against the Fox News anchor by five women, that has critics choking.
“I don’t think Bill did anything wrong,” Trump told The New York Times on Wednesday, adding that O’Reilly “shouldn’t have settled.” “I think he’s a person I know well — he is a good person.”

President Donald Trump, who has been accused of sexual assault by multiple women, declared April as National Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month.
“We dedicate each April to raising awareness about sexual abuse and recommitting ourselves to fighting it,” the commander-in-chief said in a statement released by the White House Friday. “Women, children, and men have inherent dignity that should never be violated … My Administration, including the Department of Justice and the Department of Health and Human Services, will do everything in its power to protect women, children, and men from sexual violence.”

The first full day of Donald Trump‘s presidency began in protest, as hundreds of thousands of people across the globe took to the streets on Saturday to stand in solidarity with women’s rights and against the election of the 70-year-old businessman.
But before they marched, protestors made signs to help spread their message. And their sign game was strong.
Social media was flooded on Saturday with photos of these signs — some humorous, others heartbreaking in the seriousness of their reality.
Most were seen at the Women’s March on Washington, D.C. — where as many as 500,000 people are expected.

The Bachelorette: Men Tell All, which aired on Tuesday, is just as much a reunion show as a campaign event for the next season of the The Bachelor, which will star one of the men JoJo Fletcher sent home.
While there were a lot of likable, well-coiffed guys this season who'd make a fine leading man, Bachelor nation has made it abundantly clear who it wants to be handing out the roses next season … and that man is Luke Pell, a smoldering-eyed war veteran with a big heart and sexily monotone voice.

Sorry John Travolta, but we don't remember Grease's Danny being this hot. Aaron Tveit had Twitter collectively swooning on Sunday night when his Danny donned a very tiny pair of shorts for a gym scene in Grease: Live. There isn't much to say, other than Tveit had even the most snarky viewers pausing to enjoy his rippling muscles. To be fair, the shorts had context - Danny dons the retro gym gear while trying to improve his athletic skills in order to impress the more straight-laced (and jock-loving) Sandy (Julianne Hough). You're all cool with the fact I'm mostly...

Hours after revealing that her father lost his battle with cancer, Vanessa Hudgens stepped back in front of millions of people while performing as Betty Rizzo in Fox's Grease: Live on Sunday night. The 27-year-old former High School Musical star wrote earlier that day that she would dedicate the show in "honor" of her father, Greg, who died Saturday. "I am so sad to say that last night my daddy, Greg passed away from stage 4 cancer," Hudgens wrote when announcing his death. "Thank you to everyone who kept him in your prayers." The tragedy put a sharp edge on what...

The true stars of this year's Golden Globes were not the nominees, the dresses or even the awards themselves. Rather, the awards show gained most of its star power from a slew of inanimate objects, from the gag book Aziz Ansari read in the audience to Jonah Hill's hokey bear hat. Here are the things - like, actual things - that made the show magic. 1. The Lightsaber with which Jacob Tremblay battled Giuliana Rancic. The whole world at @JacobTremblay right now: Awwwwww #GoldenGlobes pic.twitter.com/ZwQBkjq6jx— People magazine (@people) January 11, 2016 We are officially ready for children. 2. "Friends With Kids" may have come out on Friday, March 9, but here at HuffPost Women, we've been excited about it for much longer. First of all, Jennifer Westfeldt -- known to many only as Jon Hamm's long-time girlfriend -- wrote, produced, directed and starred in the film. And for anyone who's seen and loved her previous projects "Kissing Jessica Stein" and "Ira & Abby," it was hard not to have high expectations for "Friends With Kids." Plus, the cast was made up of every actor and actress you'd want to be best friends with -- Chris O'Dowd, Jon Hamm, Kristen Wiig and Maya Rudolph in something of a "Bridesmaids" reunion.
After seeing the movie over the weekend, assistant editor Emma Gray and senior lifestyle editor Lori Fradkin sat down to chat about their initial reactions, how adorable Adam Scott is and why the movie's last line should go down in rom-com history.
