Bruce Evans was named Executive Vice President, Current Programming, NBC Entertainment in November 2017. Since being named Head of Current Programming, Evans has helped shepherd new shows like "Lincoln Rhyme: Hunt for the Bone Collector" and "Perfect Harmony". Evans is also involved in the production of NBC hit series such as "This Is Us", "The Good Place", "Chicago Fire", and "The Blacklist" as well as the Emmy-winning daily serial drama, "Days of Our Lives".
An NBC veteran of more than 20 years, Evans had previously served as Senior Vice President, Current Programming, NBC Entertainment since 2007, Vice President, Current Series, NBC Entertainment, since July 2000, Director, Prime-Time Series, NBC Entertainment, since 1998.
Evans received a bachelor's degree in public policy from Brown University and a Master of Business Administration from the Yale School of Management.
