At 7 Pm, Amy Klobuchar’s Q&A clocked 869K viewers, including 183K in the news demo. Fnc’s Martha McCallum bested in both metrics, while CNN edged out MSNBC’s Chris Matthews in the news demo.

Have you ever wondered what it would look like if Sarah Palin were held at gunpoint and forced to drunk-tweet slam poetry? Well, then former Congresswoman Michele Bachmann's (R-mn) latest WorldNetDaily column is for you. The rambling, stream-of-what-can-only-loosely-be-called-consciousness blog post touches on a wide range of horrible Obama failures, but most notably posits that maybe God sent the terrorists to Brussels to humiliate President Obama.

It looks like Donald Trump isn't the only one who has a problem with Carly Fiorina's appearance.
The Gop presidential hopeful will come face-to-face with her latest critics when she stops by The View on Friday, one week after co-hosts Michelle Collins and Joy Behar mocked her looks and said her face "looked demented" and like a "Halloween mask" when she smiled.
Fiorina fired back on Fox News Sunday, saying, "There is nothing more threatening to the liberal media in general and Hillary Clinton in particular than a conservative woman, so of course there's a double standard."

As Donald Trump remains atop the polls even following last week's first Gop presidential debate, the argument that he is merely a "fringe" candidate like Michele Bachmann or Herman Cain from the 2012 election cycle is starting to sound less credible. Chris Christie used it earlier this month and last night Seth Meyers brought it up during his interview with Anderson Cooper.

Batten down your hatches - Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No! is now making landfall on both sides of the Atlantic.
With the UK getting its first glimpse of the Asylum's latest disaster-piece tonight (July 23), we bring you the 8 best and very worst moments from Sharknado 3 below:
1. White House Down
There's a certain art to a Sharknado opening scene. Viewers want their man-eating sharks and lots of blood from the get-go, and each new movie has to find a new way to satisfy them.
This time around, a hokey presidential ceremony - complete with a genuinely depressing cameo from all-time great comedian Robert Klein for the second year running - for the one-man army known as Fin Shepard (Ian Ziering) was quickly dispatched so the sharks could starting destroying the Us capital.
Producers The Asylum's choice to give non-actors Mark Cuban and Ann Coulter lots of speaking lines in Sharknado was a bit negligible,...

The new full trailer for the latest Sharknado sequel pretty much explains itself. There’s yet another tornado full of sharks coming, and this time it’s going to destroy the entire "feast coast." There’s really no need to give any sort of plot synopsis for Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!, a movie concerned exclusively with CGI sharks spilling from the sky and eating people. It stars Tara Reid, Frankie Muniz, and David Hasselhoff, with guest appearances by Ann Coulter (as the vice-president of the United States), Michele Bachmann (as herself), Anthony Weiner (as a lifeguard, hopefully with his pants on), and other, less political people. Until the movie airs on July 22 and we can all drink ourselves silly while watching Ann Coulter maybe get gobbled by flying sharks, we have this trailer to tide us over:...

"Lord of the Rings." "The Dark Knight." "The Godfather." And ... "Sharknado"? As the new teaser for "Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!" says, the best things come in threes.
Ok, nobody, including Syfy, thinks "Sharknado" belongs with those cinematic titans, but hey, the franchise has always liked to be cheeky. "Sharknado" knows what it is - and revels in its cheesiness, its ridiculousness, it's "so bad, it's good"-ness.The third movie takes the action to Washington, D.C. - there is a Lol-worthy shot of a great white plopping down in Abraham Lincoln's lap - and is stuffed with celebrity cameos from Ann Coulter, Michele Bachmann, and Mark Cuban. The latter is apparently the president (ha!) and is seen in the trailer toting a gun alongside Ian Ziering.

To this day, Sex and the City fans play the "Which Satc character are you?" game. So who better to label celebrities as a Carrie, Charlotte, Samantha or Miranda than the woman who played Miranda herself?
Cynthia Nixon, who starred as the quick-witted lawyer on the HBO hit, had a little fun on Watch What Happens Live on Thursday sorting some major female (and male) celebrities into one the four Satc character categories in a game called Nixon Picks 'Em.
To kick it off, host Andy Cohen, 46, gave a few examples of his own: He is obviously a Carrie, while Anderson Cooper is a Miranda.

"Sharknado 3" is set on the Eastern seaboard, from Washington, D.C. to Florida. Of all the big Republican wins in the midterm elections, Joni Ernst's in Iowa may be the biggest, as it helped swing the Senate to Gop control, in one of the fiercest contests. Democrats saw Iowa state Sen. Ernst, 44, as a serious threat, enlisting Michelle Obama, Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton to campaign for Ernst's opponent, Bruce Braley, in the race for the seat that had been occupied for 29 years by the retiring Democrat Tom Harkin. When this new star of the Republican Party is sworn into office in January, she will become Iowa's first woman in the U.S.

Fox News host Neil Cavuto grilled Rep. Michele Bachmann over her plan to sue President Obama because of his executive orders. Also read: Obamacare Critic Has Epic Meltdown on MSNBC's ‘All In With Chris Hayes’ (Video) “You've been bemoaning it for a long time. Why now the suit?” Cavuto asked Wednesday. “Why not just fix things that are very, very wrong now rather than dragging someone to court over whether they overstepped their bounds? It just seems to me like an enormous waste of effort.” When Bachmann accused the Internal Revenue Service of giving private information to the president's “political friends,...

Saturday Night Live turns 40 years old next year. The big 4-0. What does that mean, exactly? Well, to put it in perspective, that means 11 of the 21 people who hosted during SNL’s 39th season were not even alive when the show premiered on Oct. 11, 1975 with George Carlin as host. The show has evolved slightly from one cast to the next. But at its core, it’s still the same format that Lorne Michaels and his irreverent crew established way back when, though the first few seasons relied on such a small circle of guest hosts that Buck Henry became the...

When you have to preface what you're about to say with the stipulation that "all Republican women are pro-women," you must think that the following argument might be seen as controversial. That's precisely what Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-mn) did when she rose to speak before a House vote on the funding for a National Women's History Museum to be established on the National Mall in Washington, D.C.

Hillary Clinton was delivering a speech at the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries in Las Vegas on Thursday when a shoe came flying at her head from the audience.
Clinton managed to dodge the projectile footwear and have a laugh about it. Initially, Clinton thought it could have been a bat, but then realized she was someone's intended target. “That’s somebody throwing something at me?” Clinton asked. “Is that part of Cirque du Soleil?”
“My goodness, I didn't know solid waste management was so controversial," she added, quipping, "Thank goodness she didn't play softball like I did."
Following the incident, the unidentified woman was taken into custody. The secret service said that she had not been among the roughly 1,000 ticketed guests and had somehow managed to get through hotel security, reported CNN. It has not been revealed what the woman was protesting.

You probably don’t know this because it almost certainly isn’t in any of the books about the comic book racket and it happened before most you were born — in the neighborhood of 50 years — and even if you’d been there, in the offices of Marvel comics when Marvel was part of a parent company, Magazine Management, you might not have known about it and if you did know about it you might have forgotten by now because we are talking a half-century here, but… I once wrote Captain America and I’m pretty sure I used fewer words than are in this sentence.

Levi’s has always been a vocal advocate for Lgbt rights, and their corporate policies extend to HIV/AIDS advocacy. They have an extensive program for training employees on the spread, prevention, and stigma of HIV, have programs to cover 100% of HIV medical expenses worldwide, and successfully lobbied governments around the world for changes in treatment and coverage. State Senator Steve Gallardo of Arizona came out as gay after being inspired by the recent conflict over Sb 1062, the Arizona bill that would have allowed discrimination against the Lgbt community.
“I’m gay, I’m a Latino, and I’m a senator. And it’s okay,” Gallardo told reporters on Wednesday.
Gallardo has been out to his friends and family for over a decade, and says that he was encouraged to come out to the public after seeing all the support for the Lgbt community in the fight to get Sb 1062 vetoed. He himself has been incredibly vocal in his opposition to the bill.
“Seeing the people out there, protesting. I thought, it’s time. It’s time to let people know me. And to send people a message. I’m more interested in letting people who struggle with this know that it’s okay,” Gallardo said following his announcement.

Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn), a former Presidential hopeful, said that America “isn’t ready for a woman president” in an interview discussing Hillary Clinton’s possible run for President in 2016.
When asked how a Republican could beat Clinton in a Presidential race, Bachmann wasted no time in pointing to Benghazi, an event she frequently brings up on her Twitter feed, and the Affordable Care Act, or Obamacare. Bachmann theorizes that Clinton as president “would be Obama’s third and fourth term in office.”
“If a person reads the Senate Intelligence [Committee] report and the House Foreign Affairs [Committee] report released [last] week, it is damning for Hillary Clinton,” Bachmann added.
Bachmann says that she is confident that the American people won’t be seduced by the idea of electing the first female president, as she believes they were at the thought of electing the first African American president.

Despite the presence of some Occupy agitators, nobody shouts "This is what democracy looks like!" in the irresistible politicians-meet-the-people documentary Caucus, probably because to do so would be to risk inviting despair. Aj Schnack's film follows one of the great humiliations of American life: the slow, soiling ritual of presidential hopefuls pressing the flesh in preparation for the Iowa Caucus — and often discovering that much of that flesh has already been pressed, persuasively, by some other candidate the week before.
