Every season on “The Bachelor,” without fail, Chris Harrison tells us that this will be the most dramatic finale in “Bachelor” history. Sometimes it’s all smoke, and other times it’s definitely not, like Tuesday’s Season 24 conclusion that was also heavily promoted as the Most! Unpredictable! Finale! Ever! And reader, it actually was. It ended with some twists and turns that, yes, had never happened on “The Bachelor” before.
Let’s look back at the craziest, most dramatic moments in “Bachelor” finale history that still have us saying, “Did that actually happen?”
8. Ben picks the mean girl
The bad guy loses and the good guy wins. That’s how it goes, right? Not on Season 16 in 2012. Ben Flajnik chose eternal “Bachelor” villain Courtney Robertson over fan favorite Lindzi Cox, stunning fans who were clinging on to hope that he’d make the “right choice.” Rumors flew while the...

Even casual Bachelor and Bachelorette viewers know the show, which premiered back in 2002, brings the drama. And in a show packed with can’t-believe-it twists and turns throughout each season, it takes a special something to stand out above the rest — and these 11 do just that!
1. DeMario has a girlfriend: The Bachelorette, season 13
On this season of The Bachelorette, contestant DeMario Jackson’s ex-girlfriend, Lexi, surprised Jackson by joining a group date (that Jackson was currently on!) to tell Rachel she and Jackson were dating up until a few days before Jackson made his Bachelorette debut on last season’s After the Final Rose episode.

Boy and girl meet, boy and girl go on champagne-and-fireworks-filled dates, boy proposes to girl. The end?
Of course there’s more to The Bachelor and The Bachelorette than that — starting with the First Impression Rose, which has high stakes (and deep roots) in Bachelor Nation.
And even though it’s become part of the experience for fans of the ABC hit to try to predict the First Impression Rose recipients’ chances of success, this tradition wasn’t actually part of The Bachelor from the start.

The Bachelor franchise's After the Final Rose special always gets a little weird: It's the first time the star and his or her final rose recipient are seen together in public after the show, and it's the first time the star sees the person he or she turned down since filming wrapped. So yeah, things can get uncomfortable. And some moments are more awkward than others - here are a few that take the cake. 1. When Chris Harrison couldn't stop asking about Jordan Rodgers' brother. When Rodgers stepped out of that limo on the first night of JoJo Fletcher's season of The Bachelorette,...

CBS has set up a site for fans of How I Met Your Mother to send a farewell message through various social media sites. The collection of sentiment is enough to make me stop muttering about how the comedy should have ended seasons ago.
Game of Thrones showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss tell EW that they see a seven-season run for the fantasy drama. “Seven gods, seven kingdoms, seven seasons. It feels right to us.” I’d find that comforting, but that also leaves a good amount of time for things to go wrong.
Then again, how wrong can things get as long as Lady Olenna keeps dropping the quips.
Based on my experience with The Vampire Diaries, my reaction to hearing about the surprise departure on The Originals was a shrug, but that’s based entirely on how irritating the character was on The Vampire Diaries. For...

Bentley breaks Ashley’s heart more than once — would you watch him crush 25 more women as ‘The Bachelor?’
It’s no secret that player Bentley Williams went on The Bachelorette to chase fame and not to woo Ashley Hebert. Though he fools Ashley into believing that he’s on the show for her and nothing else, he directly tells the cameras on several occasions that he not into her, before making a dramatic exit that leaves Ashley completely crushed. Now, ABC may be considering the 28-year-old Bachelorette villain for the next Bachelor!
“They’re setting him up for that,” one of Bentley’s relatives tells In Touch magazine.
But the real question is that if Bentley does become the next Bachelor, who would actually tune in to watch him break the hearts of 25 more women? People swore that when Brad Womack returned for his second go that they would not...

Fans are speculating that Jake will be back — and they’re Not Happy! Would you cheer for Jake if he was ‘The Bachelor’ one more time?
Brad Womack got a second chance at finding love on ABC’s hit show The Bachelor and this time he left engaged to Emily Maynard. Now fans are speculating that former Bachelor Jake Pavelka will return for a second go — after Ashley Hebert’s season of The Bachelorette ends.
Unlike Brad — who didn’t hand out a final rose to either DeAnna Pappas or Jenni Croft — Jake left his first season engaged to feisty blonde Florida native Vienna Giradi. After a short-lived, tumultuous romance, the couple’s troubled relationship came crashing down. Vienna blamed their problems on a lack of intimacy and on the thought that Jake was fame hungry — he’s even said that he wants pursue an acting career.
Vienna quickly rebounded with Greek star Gregory Michael.

Brad led two women astray during his first time as ‘The Bachelor!’ How on earth could this guy have changed in three years?
Bachelor Brad Womack is in no way is a changed man! He’s going to break Emily Maynard’s heart just like he did to Deanna Pappas and Jenni Croft the first time he went on The Bachelor!
Sure, Brad has been telling the world that he has found the love of his life this season on his second go on the show, but I don’t believe him!
The first time he went on The Bachelor three years ago, he basically left Deanna at the altar. He said, “I can’t do this,” instead of getting down on one knee and asking her to marry him.
He then claimed to spend the next three years going through intensive therapy to help him cope with his commitment issues.

Fans of "The Bachelor" are one week away from seeing which woman Brad Womack picked. This week is the "women tell-all" episode where Ashley H., who was in the top 3, told Brad that she loves him, Ashley S., who received the first impression rose, asked him why she was not a wife material, and Michelle, the troublemaker, bashed everybody before crying.
Towards the end of the conversations with the ladies, host Chris Harrison asked Brad where in position is he with his final choice. "I'm telling you, I'm truly happier than I've ever been. It has nothing to do with me. It has everything to do with her. She's changed my life ...I fall more and more in love with this woman every day- I do," Brad gushed.

Brad Womack had admitted that he was initially shocked to be given a second chance on The Bachelor. The 38-year-old previously appeared on the ABC romance reality programme in 2007 but ended his stint in a controversial finale that saw him rejecting both DeAnna Pappas and Jenni Croft. He returned to the show for a second chance at love on Monday night, meeting a new group of bachelorettes eager to find love. Speaking to The AP about the offer to return, he said: “It was completely a shock for me. A complete shock. I had laid low for about three years. I was completely out of the spotlight - I was old news and I didn't expect a phone call. "When ABC called I was shocked, but pleasantly (more)...

Brad Womack returned to The Bachelor for a second time on Monday night as he met a new group of women eager to find love on the ABC reality competition. The episode opens with a recap of his previous rejection of Jenni Croft and DeAnna Pappas, although Brad insists that he is now ready to move forward and find love. He recounts how he spent three years in therapy to analyze his issues. "The only way I will truly fall in love is to be vulnerable and open up," he says. He wants to move forward and prove he is a better person. "I'm so happy to be given this chance," he says. "I've done a lot of soul searching and I know in my heart I'm very ready to fall in love. To have this opportunity, I'm the luckiest guy in the world... I'm ready to fall in love,...

Brad Womack officially got a second chance at finding his soul mate through "The Bachelor". On the January 3 premiere, the bachelor faced the consequence of rejecting both the final two women in season 11. Not only DeAnna Pappas and Jenni Croft were back to confront him, but also some of the new bachelorettes gave him a hard time.
Chantal O'Brien was the first girl to come out of the limo and she gave Brad a good smack on the face. Pappas was also being hard on him, saying "It is real hard for someone to get to the real part of me. So for me the final day was brutal because I felt the one person that I trusted most let me down."
Nevertheless, Brad got through the ordeal and managed to narrow it down to 20 and gave the first impression rose to Ashley Spivey, a 26 years old nanny who lost her dad last year.

Here we are, gang. Brad Womack is back on "The Bachelor." Let's get right to the action. And just a word of caution: Please do not put spoilers in the comments. Those comments will be deleted. Thank you.
The opening montage where Chris Harrison calls this "already one of the most dramatic seasons" and Brad shows us his poor, lonely existence while he "watches" the finale of his first season is a little much, even for this show.
The contemplative shots of him alone are giggle-fit inducing -- here's Brad watching the rain ("it's rainy, just like my soul"), here's Brad standing by a field ("I'm sad but strong"), here's Brad shirtless on a bridge ("should I jump or go on 'The Bachelor' again?"), here's Brad and his therapy issues ("Daddy!"), here's Brad and his nieces and nephews ("bring on the single moms!"), here's Brad working out ("ripple ripple"). Sheesh.

After suffering panic attacks and hitting rock bottom after refusing to choose a wife in the finale of Season 11 of "The Bachelor," Brad Womack was once again looking for love on the ABC reality show Monday night. Read on for the spoiler-filled recap! He recalled the dark moments he faced after rejecting both Jenni Croft and DeAnna Pappas. "When I got back [home] to Austin, I was alone," Brad remembered. "I watched the finale and I [felt] like a jerk. … I started to think, 'What's wrong with me?'" Brad sought therapy, and analyzed his fear of commitment, realizing it stemmed from his childhood. He explained that his father let him down "more times [than he could] count." But he vowed to let himself be vulnerable, and, after apologizing to Jenni and Deanna, decided to give a field of 25 beautiful ladies a shot at vying for his heart once more. But if he thought it...

Brad Womack is back.
While many shows (especially reality shows) lose their luster, incredibly, The Bachelor manages to become more compelling each season. This being the fifteenth.
The re-selection of Brad Womack - he who spurned Jenni Croft and DeAnna Pappas on the season finale three years ago - guaranteed ample buzz for the premiere.
In the end, though, the meet-and-greet session was fairly vanilla.
If you want all The Bachelor spoilers for this season, follow the link. We mean All the spoilers too, that's not just some link we threw out to trick you. We've got it all.
As far as the season premiere goes, you knew Jenni and DeAnna would be a big topic of discussion. What you may not have expected was them being there personally.

A new season of The Bachelor begins tonight (ABC, 8 p.m. Et) with an old face: After rejecting both DeAnna Pappas and Jenni Croft in 2007′s season 11 finale, Brad Womack was momentarily the most hated man in America. For some reason, the Austin bar owner — who told EW in 2009 that people only calmed down after Ellen DeGeneres, who had called him a “jerk” on her show, let him explain to her audience that he never asked producers to fly Pappas’ father in for the finale — is back for another go. In a brilliant/cruel move, producers didn’t inform the...

Three long years ago (500 million years in Internet time), when Brad was just an unknown bar owner from Texas lookin' for luv, I was into other stuff, like books, and being outside, and not spending two hours every week watching plastic-faced people talk about how amazing each other are. (Obviously, since then, things have changed, for me and for Brad. These days I've burned all my books in my indoor fireplace, because I Hate being outside. And Brad hates himself!)
And yet, as I sit down to write this recap of Brad's Bachelor Adventure Part 2, I truly feel like I watched his first go-round. Like I was right there with you when Brad "shockingly" dumped Deanna Pappas and Jenni Croft (didn't watch; still know their names and what...

Do you still hate Brad for breaking DeAnna and Jenni’s hearts on season 11?
Bachelor Brad Womack is back! But the question is: How do fans feel about his return? Brad is the renowned 38-year-old Texan Bachelor who left season 11 single after refusing to give the final rose and an engagement ring to either of the final two women, DeAnna Pappas, 29, and Jenni Croft, 27. His dramatic exit left Bachelor fans questioning his decision, but now some are saying he deserves this second go. What do you think? Should ABC have given Brad another chance?
Here’s what fans are saying on ABC’s message board:
Pro Brad’s Return: Sexistpig: “After many failed Bachelor relationships, he is the one who had the integrity not to choose anyone. People respect Brad for being honest. — respect being the key word.” Pdilly1: “Everyone and I do mean everyone makes mistakes. Actually I...

The Bachelor
8/7c ABC
In the annals of Bachelor history, no villain has been more hissable than Brad Womack (Booooooooooo!!!), the Austin saloonkeeper who spurned both Jenni and DeAnna in 2007. Brad says that has paid dearly for his sins ("I hit rock bottom"), and that therapy has made him more kissable. He hopes. We'll see, beginning tonight, when he meets the 30 gals he'll be sifting through over the next two months. A dentist, an undertaker and a "manscaper" are among them. But first there's an encounter with Jenni and DeAnna. Then the first gal out of the limousine slaps him. Hard. — Paul Droesch

The newest installment of "The Bachelor" is starting on ABC Monday night. Host Chris Harrison previews for Zap2it the polarizing bachelorette, the fan favorite and what it was like bringing back Brad Womack's jiltees Jenni Croft and DeAnna Pappas.
Harrison previously told us that while the season doesn't have Rozlyn or Rated-r type drama, there is one contestant that riles things up a bit. But bachelor Womack had no idea, as he said the season was relatively drama-free.
"I think what you're going to find is if you go back and interview Brad four to five weeks after the show starts, I don't know if he'll give you the same answer," laughs Harrison. "I think there was a lot of drama and cattiness he had no idea about. You take Michelle Money and all Brad got to see was this stunningly beautiful single mom, but the other women...

'The Bachelor' (8Pm, ABC) season 15 premiere
Will the second time be the charm for the bachelor no one was calling charming after his first 'Bachelor' stint, when he neglected to find a mate from amongst a whole houseful of women? We'll see, as 2007 'Bachelor' star Brad Womack returns, first to face his previous cast-offs, Jenni Croft and DeAnna Pappas, then to meet the 30 women vying for his affections this season. His new love quest starts off on shaky footing: the first woman out of the limousine slaps him. But the dramamamas who follow slowly warm up to him, and by the end of the two-hour premiere, he's ready to hand out roses to the 20 women who'll stay in the swanky 'Bachelor' pad and try to do what the 25 women in season 11 failed to do: hook 'em a 'Bachelor.'

Omg! Lorenzo thinks it’s time fans stop hating Brad and that they should just accept the decisions the man made in the past!
The Bachelor’s returning star Brad Womack, 38, is continually remembered and hated by America for breaking the hearts of DeAnna Pappas, 29, and Jenni Croft, 27, when he left the show a single man and the women both broken hearted at the end of season 11. However, now he’s coming back for a second chance — and despite the the fact that fans just aren’t happy, former Bachelor Lorenzo Borghese tells HollywoodLife.com “of course” Brad deserves this second go! Adding, “If no one deserves a second chance, we are all screwed!”
“I don’t think he fell in love the first time,” Lorenzo says. “I believe he is ready to fall in love now. I think it’s about time.”
Lorenzo thinks Bachelor fans should really allow Brad this chance again.

Is Brad ready to see DeAnna & Jenni again? More importantly, is he ready to fall in love this time around?
Bachelor Brad Womack is back! The 38-year-old bar owner thinks that he’s finally ready to find love, but on the first episode of this season’s The Bachelor, Brad first has to deal with the repercussions of rejecting DeAnna Pappas, 29, and Jenni Croft, 27, the last time he was on the show.
“I get it. I understand the anger, the hurt, the frustration. I understand all of that,” Brad says of the girls, who pay him a special visit on the Jan. 3 premiere. “The thing that I would say is a very heartfelt, ‘I’m sorry.’”
But once this dramatic reunion ends, Brad says he’s ready to embark on another quest for love.
“Never in a million years did I think I would be sitting here again,” he admits.

Brad Womack may be allowed to re-enter "The Bachelor" arena but producers wanted him to confront his past first. As it has been reported, Womack came face to face with DeAnna Pappas and Jenni Croft, the final two women whom he both rejected in season 11. In a sneak peek provided by Et, viewers get to find out how intense the meeting would be.
Pappas and Croft will be in the season premiere on January 3. Chris Harrison mediated the meeting, asking the two women how they felt on the day Womack dumped them. "I was very embarrassed," Croft admitted. "I felt that I went into the whole thing with an open heart. I was just confused about: Why would he even do that? Why not give DeAnna a chance?"
Pappas who looked like she held more grudge said, "I don't wear my heart on my sleeve. It is real hard for...

ABC has unveiled the identities of 30 women who compete for Brad Womack's heart on "The Bachelor". The average age of the women is 26 while Womack is 38, but the bachelor told Zap2It, "I've never thought about age until now. I'm beginning to realize I'm an old guy!. No, age has never been an issue. Age is just a number. I'm more concerned about maturity level."
The women's professions range from a nanny to musical theater performer to attorney. But he may find something in common from food writer Britt for Womack runs several bars in Austin, Texas with his twin brother.

"The Bachelor"'s Brad Womack, who is famous for being the man who walked away in his season's finale, rejecting both of the women who made it to the final two, tells "The Insider" that his second time around he found love on the ABC matchmaking series. "I am very much in love," he tells "The Insider." "I am a happy guy. It was completely different [the second time around] for so many reasons. I was so much more open to the process. I just had a great time. I know that sounds strange." Brad credits "very expensive therapy" with making the difference in his being open to finding love on TV. "I really did go through intense therapy and all that good stuff," he says. "I wanted to come on the show and be my true self and let people in. It worked. That is what was so different. I wasn't closed off at all.

"The Bachelor" begins its15th season in a few short weeks. Wednesday (Dec. 15) "Bachelor" Brad Womack dished the details about his second time around on the show. The bachelorettes tend to skew a bit younger than Brad's 38 years (meet them here!), so Zap2it was curious if age was a factor for Brad.
"I've never thought about age until now. I'm beginning to realize I'm an old guy!" Womack laughs. "No, age has never been an issue. Age is just a number. I'm more concerned about maturity level."
He also assured us that he did not feel the pressure to pick someone this time around because he "would not let anyone pressure [him] to make a decision like that."
But that turned out not to be a problem because Womack says, "I did find love and I'm very happy to say that. I'm a happy guy. It was completely different for several reasons.

When 'The Bachelor' returns on Jan. 3, Brad Womack will have a second shot at finding true love. The entrepreneur turned down both DeAnna Pappas and Jenni Croft in the 11th season finale, but now he'll have 30 more lovely ladies to get to know.
Today, ABC released the list of the 30 women who will compete for the 37-year-old's heart. Their occupations range from funeral director to hospital planner, and apparently one of them has fang orthodontia. Yep.
Our favorite bit from the press release: "And what a beginning! Chantal wastes no time with pleasantries and, in the name of women everywhere, slaps Brad on the face. This sassy divorcee's painful message for Brad leaves him wondering if she'll ever give him a second chance at love." Hey, someone had to do it!
After the jump, the names and occupations of the season 15 contestants.

I'll have a full recap of The Bachelor season 15 premiere when it airs January 3. Until then, here's my initial assessment of how Brad will fair as our first do-over Bachelor:
By now you know that the upcoming season of The Bachelor is going to be a little different, simply by virtue of the show's attempt to keep one key element the same as a season past: For the first time, we're getting a repeat Bachelor. Disgraced Bachelor #12, Brad Womack, is back to try his luck and find a wife on season 15. But for Brad, this return to The Bachelor is about a lot more than finding love: It's about finding redemption.
In the upcoming premiere, Brad openly admits that America thought he was a total jerk when he publicly dumped Deanna and Jenni back in 2007. Within minutes he's called himself a jerk, compared himself to his absent father and admitted...

When The Bachelor returns to ABC Jan. 3, a chastened Brad Womack — a.k.a. the guy who dared to defy the rules of the reality TV universe by not proposing to either of the women lovingly hand-selected for him by television producers — will embark upon a serious, introspective, soul-baring journey toward lifelong love, again with women carefully hand-selected for him by television producers. (See, you can tell how chastened he is by his intense look in this photo of him clutching the rose. Doesn’t he look like he’s going to bite someone?) And it seems, judging from the...

Do you know this man, Brad Womack?
In case you don't have already have a pitchfork with his name on it, he was giver of the roses on ABC's "The Bachelor's" 11th season and he's the breaker of Jenni Croft and DeAnna Pappas' hearts (and apparently every woman's in America as well) as he chose neither woman in the show's shocking finale. Don't let that smile fool you: He's the self-proclaimed "biggest jerk in America."
Now, Womack is getting his second shot at love in Season 15, and he says he's a changed man. If this first look at the new season is any indication, Womack isn't going to have it easy, but at least it'll be fun for us to watch 25 vulnerable women compete for a man they all think is emotionally closed off. Sounds like a recipe for success! Here are six things we loved about the preview:

Brad Womack's entrance to his second "The Bachelor" stint did not go smoothly as seen in the preview. ABC had released a short clip on Monday, November 22 where Womack received a slap from the first woman out of the limo. A longer preview has now been dropped, revealing that more women are skeptic about his genuineness.
Womack was the show's 11th season bachelor who infamously rejected the final two and sent the two women in tears. He asked the producers for a second chance because he said he's ready to fall in love again. "I was a broken man," he admitted in the promo.
