- As a youth Mick attended the Famous "Camp Rio Vista" in Ingram Texas and was Honored by the camp as Honor Camper his last year there at the age of 15. A distinction given to only one youth per year.

In 2015, the prince and his family bestowed the royal title of Count upon Mick for his gallantry and quick thinking. This honor Mick accepted humbly making his full name, Count Aaron Michael Merivel Dixon.
- Mick started the William Tell Dixon Foundation for Photographers in 2014, dedicated to and for the preservation of American historical small town photographs and their photographers and cameras.
- Mick's Great Grandmother, Sarah Westbrook, was half Cherokee.
- Mick enjoys Juicing, as seen in the documentary, "Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead" and does so at least twice a year for 15-30 days. The longest he's ever been on the juice diet was 78 days once.
