No one's ever considered Justin Timberlake timid, but when he took the stage at the White House to participate in the "In Performance at the White House: Memphis Soul" show on Tuesday night (April 9), he proved he had no fear by ordering the crowd, President Barack Obama included, to sing along.

Monday night Mitt Romney and Barack Obama made some of their last campaign stops in crucial swing states. Obama brought Jay-z to Ohio for a much-publicized rendition of "99 Problems," and continued his tour with Bruce Springsteen. Romney rallied in New Hampshire with veteran rocker Kid Rock.
Rock performed his song "Born Free" which Romney has used as a campaign song.
“I have to say thank you to Kid Rock," Ann Romney said, ABC News reports. "Let me tell you we are kids of Detroit, Kid Rock and I are, and Mitt is a kid of Detroit, and we love Michigan. We love Kid Rock. We love that he stood up for us and helped us out for all this time.”
After performing the song, Rock asked the crowd to "please welcome the next president and first lady, Mr. Mitt and Ann Romney."
Romney also received support from Sam Moore of Sam & Dave.

HollywoodNews.com: The big Martin Luther King, Jr. memorial dedication is fast coming upon us. NBC, CBS, ABC but not Fox, I am told, are going to cover the historic concert on the Washington DC mall on August 28th.

HollywoodNews.com: Whitney Houston has been rehearsing all week for tonight’s Clive Davis/Naras extravaganza at the Beverly Hilton, I spoke with her last night and happily report that Whitney looks great, she’s at fighting weight, no kidding, healthy, healthy healthy. She’s going to star in a tribute to cousin Dionne Warwick tonight. It should be amazing. When Whitney saw Sam Moore in the hotel lobby, she ran over to the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and said, “I’m always humming Hold On I’m Coming!” It was one of those great times when you wished you had a camera! Clive Davis arrived right after her, and there was lots of hugging and carrying on. Tonight show’s promises to be the jewel in the crown of the Grammy weekend…

HollywoodNews.com: Stop the presses: None other than Prince, dressed like Little Lord Fauntleroy, introduced Barbra Streisand last night at her MusiCares Person of the Year dinner at the La Convention Center. He’d been sitting quietly to the side most of the evening, although at one point he did mildly greet Elvis Costello and his wife Diana Krall, in a sea of 2500 music industry types and stars. This means Prince and Costello sat through a three hour plus evening of performances you might noe associate with their ilk- from the sublime (Leona Lewis) to the sensational (Stevie Wonder).
But then again, so did real legends like Sidney Poitier, Quincy Jones, Sam Moore, and Judy Collins, and a legend who stole the entire show–Tony Bennett, 83, and the master.
At Streisand’s table, her inner circle– husband James Brolin, son Jason Gould, songwriter lyricists Marilyn and Alan Bergman.

The Girl Who Played With Fire (Music Box Films) Follow up to the hit The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo finds Lisabeth Salander (Noomi Rapace) and Mikael Blomkvist (Michael Nyqvist) joining forces once again as Blomkvist is about to break a story on Sweden’s sex trade, which leads unexpectedly to a dark secret from Elizabeth’s past. Starts off well, then quickly nose-dives into sensationalism and downright silliness, with a pair of villains who are straight out of a Roger Moore-era James Bond film. A real letdown for those of us who felt Dragon Tattoo had finally breathed life into the cinema’s long-stagnant genre of the thriller. Bonuses: English language track; Trailer. Widescreen. Dolby 5.1 surround.
The Killer Inside Me (IFC Films) Michael Winterbottom’s adaptation of Jim Thompson’s classic, and notorious, novel about the psychotic mind of a small town sheriff (Casey Affleck,...
