- American professional wrestler, trainer, promoter, booker and author. He started his career in 1994 and wrestled for a variety of independent promotions. Founded CHIKARA in 2002 with Reckless Youth (Tom Carter) and Don Montoya. Along with wrestling for CHIKARA, he has also been responsible for training many of the wrestlers who have come out of the CHIKARA Wrestle Factory, and booking the promotion. Among his in-ring achievements, he is a former holder of the CHIKARA Campeonatos de Parejas with Jigsaw (Ed McGuckin), a former NWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion, a former 2x CZW World Junior Heavyweight Champion, and, in 2007, he, Jigsaw and Shane Storm (Stigma) won the inaugural CHIKARA King of Trios tournament. Retired from active competition due to a leg injury in 2013. Continues to run CHIKARA and work as a trainer. He has returned to the ring twice. At "CHIKARA Aniversario: The Chamber of Secrets" on May 28, 2016, he went to a draw with British legend Johnny Kidd in Kidd's retirement match. He lost to Drew Gulak in the encore match at "CHIKARA Supremacy" on December 3, 2016.- IMDb Mini Biography By: JasonIK75
- Professional wrestler known for his time in CHIKARA with a gimmick of an extremely old man. Debuted with his partner Melvin Snodgrass as the Senior Assault Team in a loss to the debuting Wild Cards (Eddie Kingston and Blackjack Marciano.) Turned rudo (heel/bad guy) by "faking" his own death and renaming himself Darkness Crabtree. Later formed the Prescription Thugs with Dr. Cheung, and would power up by taking his pills. He was a pure comedy character with a tendency to move very slowly and at times fall asleep in the ring. He made intermittent appearances from 2006-2008 as well as competing for Pro Wrestling Entertainment, United Wrestling Coalition, Wrestling Is Fun! and Wrestling Is Intense. He was in the main event against Jervis Cottonbelly at the September 15, 2013 Wrestling Is Intense show, which went to a no-contest when the reformed GEKIDO invaded and tore down the promotion and "killed off" Crabtree. This was part of what would become the Flood's campaign of destroying the various Wrestling Is... promotions. That led to the "Rough Waters" series of videos where Dalton Castle (Brett Giehl) discovered that Crabtree was his "uncle" and had left him a lot of money, culminating in Castle renaming himself "Smooth Sailin'" Ashley Remington.- IMDb Mini Biography By: JasonIK75

- Twice in his career (2004 and 2007), he held SIX different titles at once. In 2004, he held the wXw (World Xtreme Wrestling in Germany) Lightweight Title, the AULL Mexican Middleweight Title, the IPW Light Heavyweight Title, the PWE (Pro Wrestling Entertainment in Pennsylvania) Heavyweight Title, the FNW (Far North Wrestling in Pennsylvania) Freeweight Title and the IPW (Insanity Pro Wrestling in Indiana) Junior Heavyweight Title. In 2007, he held the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Title, the IWA Mid-South Heavyweight Title, the IWA Mid-South Light Heavyweight Title, the PWE Heavyweight Title, the PWE Tag Team Titles with Hallowicked, and the IWA Deep South (Alabama) Heavyweight Title.
- Oddly, despite Crabtree's long history with CHIKARA, after Dalton Castle's repackaging as Ashley Remington, he never got involved in the feud with the Flood in general or with GEKIDO in particular.
- Took the nickname "Lightning" as an homage to one of his idols, Jushin Thunder Liger.
- Used Iron Butterfly's "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida" as entrance music.
- Has written seven books, including two memoirs, 2001's "Headquarters" and 2004's "Secret Identity: Essays from Both My Lives.".
