Dude Perfect has bulked up its war chest as it prepares for the next phase of its expansion. The entertainment brand that got its start with basketball trick shots has secured a “nine-figure” investment from private equity firm Highmount Capital.
Though the exact size of the funding round was not disclosed, the deal will imbue Dude Perfect with upwards of $100 million, which will be applied to the media company’s continued growth and expansion. Though Dude Perfect initially began with a single YouTube channel, it has since evolved into a multiplatform empire that includes a streaming service, an ownership stake in a Premier League soccer club, and even a cruise. Meanwhile, the original Dude Perfect channel is still going strong; it counts more than 60 million subscribers.
With its latest injection of capital, Dude Perfect will pursue new opportunities and projects while continuing to forge partnerships and build their management team.

One of the biggest brands on YouTube is planning a significant expansion, and has locked up a massive investment to do it.
Dude Perfect, perhaps best known for their elaborate trick shot videos on YouTube and other video platforms, have secured a nine-figure investment from Highmount Capital in a play to build out their business in new areas and to expand their core programming.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed, though a source pegged the value of the investment at greater than $100 million, a huge number for a brand originally built on YouTube.
“We’ve had a lot of dreams and big visions that we haven’t yet been able to tackle with the size team that we have, or the amount of capital that we’ve had so far, and so this was something that we’ve been looking into for the past year, and we were really excited when Highmount came along,...

Dude Perfect has officially launched its own streaming service.
The Texas-based YouTube trickshot group–aka longtime friends Tyler Toney, Garrett Hilbert, Cody Jones, and twins Cory and Coby Cotton–first unveiled the free-to-watch service (and accompanying app) this past June, during its Pandemonium Tour.
To put the service and app together, Dude Perfect partnered with Canadian media company A Parent Media Co. Inc. (Apmc), which owns AVOD streaming service Kidoodle.TV. Dude Perfect previously struck a deal with Apmc to put its extensive library of videos on Kidoodle.TV.
That’s how this dedicated Dude Perfect streaming service came about, according to Apmc president and CEO Neil Gruninger.
“Since launching Dude Perfect content on our flagship service, Kidoodle.TV, last November, it was immediately evident that our family audiences would love an opportunity to engage with the Dudes on a more immersive level,” Gruninger said in a statement. “The Dude Perfect...

Westerns seem to be popping up all over the Dtv and VOD markets in the last year or so. From Hell on the Border, Righteous Blood and the upcoming Apache Junction to western/horror hybrids like The Pale Door and Skinwalker, it seems the Old West is new again. Catch the Bullet is a new one written by Jerry Robbins and directed by Michael Feifer. Should you catch it? Or dodge a bullet and watch something else?
Marshal Britt MacMaster, played by the late Jay Pickett and to whom the film is dedicated, has just gunned down a bank robber and his two accomplices. For the three months it took to track them, his father is watching his twelve-year-old son Chad.
When he finally returns he finds...
