Today we have a bumper crop of soundtracks that neatly divides into two groups: stuff you might actually consider buying and stuff you really wouldn’t. Well almost. One rather straddles the divide.
Let’s kick off with the good stuff. Firstly we have the soundtrack to Warrior, the Tom Hardy fight ‘em up that everyone says is really good and not at all like Rocky or The Fighter or The Wrestler but I wouldn’t know because I haven’t seen it and I’m just being facetious. Anyway, you can tell the soundtrack is good because it borrows from Beethoven’s Ode to Joy (in the handily instructive opening track, ‘Listen to Beethoven’).
