Still one of Tracy and Hepburn’s best, this follow-up to Adam’s Rib works on all levels. It rings the feminist rights gong just hard enough, and drums the notion that women deserve a chance to achieve their potential without sex discrimination getting in the way. Katharine Hepburn is at her most attractive when being athletic. Some fine star-making supporting action adds to the fun, especially the contribution of a young Aldo Ray.

There are two caveats – These are players from the Open Era of Tennis (sorry, Don Budge fans), and all of the players must have achieved a ranking of at least #25 on the Atp Tour. There have to be rules!
Three names you will not be seeing on this list are Andre Agassi, Janko Tipsarevic and Goran Ivanišević. Why? They’ve all made public homophobic comments,...

Q: In the last few weeks, Matt Bomer has appeared on the red carpet and a late night talk show wearing a gold band on his left ring finger. Officially, he’s unattached and doesn’t talk about his personal life. But a band on one’s left hand almost always has meaning – even if the person isn’t married or civil-unioned. Is it appropriate to ask him about the ring? I say yes. – Brian, Des Moines, Iowa
A: Isn’t this is an appropriate question for Valentine’s Day? It’s true: Bomer is now wearing the ring to public and press events. Is it okay for us to ask him about that?
We actually hemmed and hawed on this one. Obviously, there are widespread internet rumors about Bomer’s sexuality.
