Should've Been Romeo adds Ed Asner to Paul Ben-Victor, Carol Kane indie Edward Asner has boarded the Marc Bennett-helmed film which tells of a middle-aged potato chip company pitchman who loses his job and is also faced with his grandfather being dropped off on his doorstep by his mother, who's on her way to a singles cruise. Phillybrook Films' Gregory Segal produces. Asner, known mostly for voice his role in Disney Pixar's sensational Up animated family adventure, joined Hallmark's Two In telepic recently. His other credits include TV's Hawaii Five-o and Hot in Cleveland. He's completed work in Dean Pollack's Audrey alongside Sybil Temtchine and Ed Quinn, and is in post-production phase for Aaron Pope's The Liberator actioner, starring Lou Ferrigno, Peta Wilson and Jessica Anders.
