The winners list for “America’s Got Talent” already includes two magicians — Mat Franco (Season 9) and Shin Lim (Season 13) — but will the current 15th season add another to this elite group? During the upcoming Tuesday, June 23 episode of “Agt,” the judges meet a young card magician named Winston who wows them with his eye-popping tricks. As the 21-year-old from Venezuela explains, “This is a huge opportunity to show America my love to magic and I hope they will love it.” Watch the sneak peek video above.

You’d think there’d be a strong correlation on “America’s Got Talent” between which act performs Last during the Finals and who ends up being named the winner, as that act would be freshest in voters’ minds. But amazingly, the opposite is true. Over the course of all 12 seasons of “Agt,” only two acts went on to win the $1 million prize after being given the plum spot in the finale: Season 11’s singer-songwriter/ukuleleist Grace VanderWaal and Season 7’s animal act Olate Dogs. Is there a curse for acts who perform last during the Finals?
VanderWaal and Olate Dogs were heavy favorites heading into the respective finales, so it’s possible producers gave them the final position as a way to boost their visibility. But many acts in other years have also been the frontrunners to win and producers chose not to place them last. Ventriloquist Darci Lynne Farmer...

We are four episodes into season 11 of America's Got Talent, and four singers have received golden buzzers to advance straight to the live shows. What is there really left to say or write that Derek Stauffer and I haven't already covered, other than to reiterate that it is unlikely any of them will win?
With the exception of Sal Valentinetti, the three young ladies have nailed the backstory angle with the added emotional heartstring tug of Calysta Bevier's inspiring recovery from cancer. But I doubt any of them have the seasoning of an Emily West that is required to excel once they hit the big stage.

We are heading into the final stretch of season 7 of The Voice, folks. Do not -- I repeat, do not -- call it at this point. Don't think you know what the final results will be. Believe me, I speak from experience after getting burned with the results of this summer's America's Got Talent results when Matt Franco walked away with the whole kit and caboodle. Granted, he deserved the hell out of that win, but I was gunning just as hard or harder for his competitor, Emily West (whom I secretly wish would come over here to The Voice and give this bunch a run for their money). Between the two talent shows, I can't say which I've enjoyed more. As my dad would say, the one that's in front of you is the one you have to focus on. So today and this entire fall it's definitely been The Voice.

This is the second part of a two-part interview with country music singer-songwriter Emily West, who previously discussed her appearance on The Celebrity Apprentice. After passing her Apprentice training with flying colors, Emily West continues her musical assault on the public's senses. On a stage filled with alpha males (Montgomery Gentry, Jamey Johnson, Jack Ingram), the effervescent West is bringing a frisky, feminine touch to the Country Throwdown Tour that rolls through America until June 20. Then her first full-length album is tentatively scheduled for a summer release, although her label, Capitol Nashville, has yet to announce an official release date. West keeps making waves, though, with the single "Blue Sky," the touching song about the lives that were turned upside down by the divorce of her parents after 32 years of marriage. She co-wrote it with Gary Burr and recorded...

Plus, Brothers & Sisters tanks, Doctor Who soars, Lea Michele returns to Broadway, and doesn't Jesse Tyler Ferguson look nice ... for the 19th century.
Isn't he dapper?
We may not be the biggest fans of the Out Power 50 list around here, but we can all agree that the cover of the issue is adorable. Plus, Jesse was precious when he tweeted that he had never expected his mother to ask him when an issue of Out was hitting newsstands. Joe.My.God evidently watches Celebrity Apprentice, and I'm glad someone does, otherwise we wouldn't know that Cyndi Lauper's team won their makeover challenge last night, giving a new look to country star Emily West. The win netted them $20k for the True Colors Fund, but even better is the news that Emily announced 100% of the proceeds of iTunes sales from her single "Blue Sky" featuring Keith Urban would be donated to the True Colors Fund.

Revitalizing the images of up-and-coming country singers Emily West and Luke Bryan was the task assigned to the women and the men's team on Sunday night's "Celebrity Apprentice." And even though Luke, who was the men's project -- won the Acma for Best New Artist, the men's team lost the challenge. "I think the fact that [guest star] Trace [Adkins] couldn't look me in the eye when he told us who won showed his true feeling about it," says Bill Goldberg, who was the project manner and the eliminated player. "I am at a loss as to how we lost that task. It doesn't add up to me. Like I said, look at Luke Bryan winning the award at the ACMAs last night. Somebody thinks he is worth it. That for me is validation." Goldberg says he stepped up for this challenge because he was trying to win money for his charity: Sons of the Fallen.

Knowing what's good for us, Celebrity Apprentice staged another challenge that suited the talents of Cyndi Lauper and Bret Michaels. Scrumptious. This time, the teams competed to revamp young country stars for a splashy debut. The three remaining gents (Bret Michaels, Curtis Stone, and team-leader Goldberg) wrastled with the image of Elvis/Gomer Pyle hybrid Luke Bryan while the ladies (Holly Robinson-Peete, our girl Summer Sanders, a convalescent Sharon Osbourne, Maria Kanellis and team-leader Cyndi) rebooted perky-young-thang Emily West. While the dudes took another beating in the boardroom, last night's five most unprofessional moments knew no gender gap.

Bill Goldberg has become the seventh celebrity to leave The Celebrity Apprentice. The WWE superstar was fired from the NBC competition last night after the men's team lost the challenge. This week's task saw the celebrities instructed to give two country music stars - Emily West and Luke Bryan - a makeover, while also creating a press kit and giving them media training. Goldberg was appointed project manager for Team Rocksolid, while Cyndi Lauper took on the job for Team Tenacity. The men's team worked with Bryan, while the women's team worked with West and ultimately won the challenge. Goldberg and the only two remaining men - Curtis Stone and Bret Michaels (more)...

The literally biggest contestant in the current season of "The Celebrity Apprentice" has been eliminated. Wrestler Bill Goldberg got fired during this week's task to give a makeover to aspiring country singers. Donald Trump's reason to dismiss him was simple; Goldberg stepped up as project manager during a task that was more suited for Bret Michaels.
The objectives were to create a press kit for the singers and to give a makeover as well as media training.
Rocksolid happened to be responsible in revamping Luke Bryan while Tenacity took in Emily West. The executives liked the men's press kit better bur preferred Emily's performance better.
Country crooner Trace Adkins appeared as guest judge in place of Ivanka Trump. He too liked the men's brochure better than Tenacity's. Bill said in the boardroom that he didn't regret being a project manager but credited Bret for doing 70% of the job. Mr.

Delegating tasks is one of the responsibilities a leader has, but Bill Goldberg took that a bit too far on tonight's episode of The Celebrity Apprentice. He was chosen as project manager for Team Rock Solid, but he was eventually fired from the boardroom. Why? Because shockingly enough, Rock of Love's Bret Michaels did most of the work.

It was expected that he knew more about being a musician than Bill Goldberg, who was assigned to manage the situation. The wrestler wasn't up to the task, which was creating an image makeover for Emily West and Luke Bryan, two country music stars.
