A love letter to Hollywood and stunt men, The Fall Guy is an entertaining, stunt-packed action/comedy film wrapped around a rom-com center, starring Ryan Gosling as a stuntman and Emily Blunt as the director on a big-budget action film. The two have a romantic history, and Gosling’s stuntman is longing to get her back, but there are plenty of complications, thanks mostly to the big-ego action star he is doubling and a manipulative high-powered producer, even before all those risky stunts.
Ryan Gosling follows up his Ken role in Barbie with action-filled part as a hardworking stunt man, in director David Leitch’s The Fall Guy. Leitch is a former stuntman, so he knows what he is doing here with this action-comedy. Leith goes with practical effects rather than green screen giving this entertaining,...

Tom Ryan co-founded the free, ad-supported streaming service Pluto TV, which launched 10 years ago with a linear TV-like grid and a cluster of “live” channels stocked with online videos. Viacom, one of Paramount Global’s two predecessor companies, acquired Pluto TV for $340 million in cash in January 2019. Ryan stayed on board as chief exec of Pluto, and in October 2020 he assumed leadership for the parent company’s entire streaming operations, including CBS All Access, which relaunched as Paramount+ in early 2021.
Ryan, CEO of Paramount Streaming, says Pluto’s first decade — during which it soared to 80 million monthly active users as of last year — is just the beginning.
“I think we’re still scratching the surface,” he said in an interview with Variety. Pluto TV has major potential to expand internationally with its integrated distribution model, he said: “It’s really a universally appealing product around the world.”

Internationally produced Paramount+ original content is set to travel to the U.S. and beyond, going global on the company’s streaming service, Paramount Global said Monday. The move arrives as Hollywood giants are reshuffling fall and winter premiere plans amid the double strike of actors and writers that has halted production for weeks this summer.
Unveiling worldwide premiere dates for key originals from outside the U.S., Paramount+ said that British drama The Gold will become available across all of its international markets Sept. 14 and in the U.S. on Sept. 17; globally acclaimed Korean crime-thriller Bargain will debut globally Oct. 5; and the second season of the Spanish-language series Los Enviados will land on Paramount+ globally by the end of this year, following the success of the first season as the service’s best-performing Spanish-language scripted series in the U.S. to date, the company said.

The gift the Ryan family received on Christmas Eve was so much better than anything waiting under the tree.
The Rhode Island family was reunited with their dog, Kacy (above, right), who’d disappeared following a hit-and-run. “My heart is so full right now,” Linda Ryan told NBC 10.
According to the station, Thomas Ryan was walking Kacy and the family’s other dog Angus on Dec. 15 when they were all hit by a car. Angus broke his leg; Kacy went running.

It started with Elmo. A little over a year ago, web entrepreneur Ilya Pozin was working on his computer with his two-year-old daughter perched in his lap. To keep her entertained, he was searching for online Sesame Street videos. He’d put one on, but after each one ended, his daughter would yell out, “More Elmo, Daddy!” — and Pozin would have to go on the hunt for another video. “I’m sitting there thinking, ‘Why am I having to DJ for her every three minutes?’” Pozin says, laughing. “I should be able to just throw on a channel for my...

Actor Craig Bierko is reportedly set to rejoin the 'Scary Movie' franchise for the Malcolm Lee ('Undercover Brother') directed sequel 'Scary Movie 5'. Bierko (below) is set to play a character named Dan which is obviously entirely different to that of his performance of his Tom Cruise-based spoof role of Tom Ryan in 2006's 'Scary Movie 4'. 'Scary Movie 3' and 4 director David Zucker ('Airplane') will be back to write and produce on this fifth installment in the comedy horror series. Bierko will join the already cast Ashley Tisdale ('High School Musical 3: Senior Year') and Erica Ash ('MADtv'). A list of just some of the movies expected to get parodied this time around will be 'Paranormal Activity', 'Black Swan', '127 Hours' and 'Rise of the Planet of the Apes'....
