Last year, Titan Books began a new publishing initiative to dig back into the beginning of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's inter-connected superhero film series known as The Infinity Saga. Starting with "Iron Man: The Art of the Movie," the publisher is re-issuing all of the art books tied to (almost) every chapter of the MCU. "The Art of Iron Man 2" followed earlier this year, and there will be 24 books in the entire collection. Now is the time for the God of Thunder and the shimmering realm of Asgard to take the spotlight.

This will be the third book getting re-released next week, going behind the scenes of "Thor," a movie that brought us closer to an assembly of Marvel's Avengers and essentially a point of no return for the franchise. Like the rest of the art books, they're...

I wasn’t a big fan of the creature design that was used to bring Doomsday to life in Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. All I saw was one of the giant trolls from The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit films. The alien monster could have looked a lot different, though. Some concept art has surfaced that was created by Vance Kovacs (Thor, Men in Black 3) and shows a very different creature design that is a bit more terrifying than what we saw in the movie. There is also concept art features some action fight scenes between the film's heroes and the destructive monster.
I also included some cool concept art by prop illustrator Daren R. Dochterman that features some of Batman’s weapons and gadgets that he used in the film. The set of wonderful toys includes Kryptonite-laced grenades, batarang with multiple cutting edges,...

But as Batman, Wonder Woman and Superman prepare to move on to the next battle in 2017's Justice League (and the solo Wonder Woman movie that arrives a few months earlier), we've got some extra time to obsess over Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.... ... especially this pretty spectacular concept art featuring alternate versions of the film's other-worldly villain, Doomsday. Artist Vance Kovacs has posted some of his conceptual work on Batman v Superman, which is all Doomsday-centric, revealing a few different looks at the iconic monster and his showdown with Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman. First, here's what Doomsday looked like in the finished film. Here is a version of...

Actor Vin Diesel has been the greatest source of information about the sequel to The Chronicles of Riddick by posting updates and pre-production artwork on his personal Facebook page. Diesel has previously revealed details about the conversations (read: battles) that he and David Twohy have had with Universal over Riddick 3's (formerly The Chronicles of Riddick: Dead Man Stalking) budget and R-rating, and also shared concept and storyboard art. "In the spirit of Creative Sundays," Diesel has once again offered his fans a peek at a new piece of artwork from Riddick 3 and this time it's key frame art by artist Vance Kovacs depicting one of the many new threats facing Riddick in what might turn out to be the anti-hero's "Final Stand."

Fan-friendly actor Vin Diesel has once again used his personal Facebook page (an incredible 26.9 million "likes" and climbing!) to offer an update on the sequel to The Chronicles of Riddick that he first mentioned on his Facebook page back in August 2009. Diesel celebrated his 44th birthday last week and, according to his most recent post, was sent a piece of concept art from Riddick 3 (formerly The Chronicles of Riddick: Dead Man Stalking) by writer/director David Twohy, which he just "had to share" with his fans. The piece, titled "Badlands," is by artist Vance Kovacs and shows the mighty Riddick striding across a devastated landscape as a fractured moon hovers in the sky overheard.
