Exclusive: Naomi Scott (Aladdin), Kit Harington (Game Of Thrones) and Simon Callow (Shakespeare in Love) have wrapped shoot on romance Eternal Return, for Village Roadshow, Macro and Bk Studios.
Since it was announced last Cannes, Macro and Bk Studios are among new elements to have joined the project, which marks one of the last features produced by Brit Bill Kenwright who passed away in late October. Lakeshore is handling international sales.
Also starring are Sonoya Mizuno and Jay Lycurgo. Yaniv Raz (Dr. Bird’s Advice For Sad Poets) directs.
The film follows Cass (Scott), a young woman who has resigned herself to a life without love—until she meets Virgil (Harington), an enigmatic mapmaker who charts journeys to imaginary places, and his partner-in-crime, Malcolm (Simon Callow), whose relentless quest to travel back in time awakens Cass to love again.
Filming took place in London, Cardiff and Bristol with Range Select repping domestic and Lakeshore repping international.

What the Constitution Means to Me, playwright-performer Heidi Schreck’s Tony-nominated Pulitzer Prize finalist, has recouped its $2.5 million Broadway capitalization, producers announced today.
The milestone arrived with the week ending July 14, with six weeks left in the Broadway engagement. The production will deliver a full return of capital to investors.
The recoupment comes during a Broadway summer when good financial news is sparse. A recent Forbes article tallied $111 million in losses from recent or recently announced Broadway closings, with King Kong, The Cher Show, Pretty Woman, The Prom, Be More Chill, King Lear, Gary: A Sequel To Titus Andronicus, Hillary and Clinton and Frankie And Johnny in the Clair de Lune all falling well short of expectations.

A new musical production of Gigi is coming to Broadway.
Created 40 years ago by Anita Loos, the musical is based on the well-known novel of the same name by French writer Colette and the Oscar-winning 1958 film that starred Leslie Caron. (Audrey Hepburn originally played the heroine in a popular 1951 play.) Loos’ musical didn’t last long when it originally opened in 1973; Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe’s music and lyrics won a Tony but the show closed after only 103 performances.
