The next song from Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s poignant tragic love story is out, Teen Gawah Hain Ishq Ke, a moving love song talking about the complete isolation of true love between two soul mates who dared to love.
The film is based on the legend of Mirza-Sahiban, a popular Punjabi folklore. And in recreating this legend, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s Mirzya has been exquisitely shot in the bleak and desolate terrain of Ladakh and the vibrancy of colourful Rajasthan, which heightens the contrast between the two worlds of folklore and contemporary, yet are interwoven very intricately to bring out the story of a legend that will never die. The eternal love story resonates even today in the modern day world of Rajasthan in 2016, as seen in this song, and is a befitting testimony to two eternal and rebellious lovers.
