Tommy Rall, the actor and acrobatic dancer who displayed his athletic dexterity in the classic MGM musicals Kiss Me Kate and Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, has died. He was 90.
Rall died Tuesday of congestive heart failure in Santa Monica, his friend Cynthia Wands reported on Facebook.
On Broadway, the dynamic Rall performed for famed choreographers Jerome Robbins, Agnes de Mille and Gower Champion and appeared in productions including Miss Liberty, Call Me Madam and Milk and Honey.
Later, he showed up as Barbra Streisand’s princely dance partner in the parody of Swan Lake in Funny Girl (1968) and shared a vaudeville tap number to “...

My, what a strange season of Dancing With the Stars it has been.
Before the reality competition kicked off its 27th season back in September, I took a stab at predicting how the weekly eliminations would shake out — and boy, was I so wrong. (A Juan Pablo Di Pace/DeMarcus Ware final two? That’s something out of an alternate universe.)
While frontrunners like Tinashe and Juan Pablo were eliminated earlier than expected, fan favorites like Grocery Store Joe and Bobby Bones defied the odds and survived each cut, resulting in one of the show’s most unpredictable seasons ever.

If you wanted a peek into what ballerinas put themselves through then this movie is definitely a worse case scenario despite being fictional. Natalie Portman portrays a young woman looking to take the lead in the legendary Swan Lake, a role that has been known to break those who weren’t ready for the responsibility and has been whispered about by those who cannot hope to aspire to such a role. Yet for all that she demands perfection of herself she becomes more and more unbalanced the further along the movie goes, displaying a severe disconnect with the world around her
