Captain America: Civil War recently became 2016’s highest grossing movie, and after the disappointing reception to Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and X-Men: Apocalypse, it will without a doubt remain the year’s biggest superhero release despite upcoming films like Suicide Squad and Doctor Strange.
Earlier this week, concept artist Maciej Kuciara (Guardians of the Galaxy) released a bit of concept art from his work on the Phase 3 flick, showcasing some of the final battle between Steve Rogers and Iron Man. The more spoiler-y moments aren’t included here, though we do get to see a slightly different take on the scene which saw Black Panther confront the suicidal Baron Zemo. A secret base of his which didn’t make it into the movie is also featured in the gallery above.

A series of concept art created for Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War featuring some cool fight sequences in the movie has been released. The first set comes from artist Maciej Kuciara. They feature some cool key frame art for the film. A lot of the art shows us how the final battle between Captain America, Bucky, and Iron Man came together. It also features a solemn piece in which Black Panther is confronting Baron Zemo. The second set of art comes from CosmicBookNews and shows Spider-Man in action during that epic airport battle sequence. I love seeing the key frame art that artists produce for these Marvel movies, and I’m sure that this won’t be the last of it for Civil War.

ComicBook.com has come across some very cool key frame art for Captain America: Civil War by concept artist Maciej Kuciara (X-Men: Days of Future Past, Guardians of the Galaxy), and in it we get a look at how that final battle between Cap, Bucky, and Iron Man was brought to life. There are also a number of other key moments shown here, including Black Panther's confrontation with Zemo. There's also a control room which didn't make it into the movie, and had it been included, Captain America: Civil War's villain arguably would have come across in an even more sinister way, especially as that looks like a classic bad guy base. Still, it's fair to say we probably haven't seen the last of Zemo, so fingers crossed he gets a chance to become the supervillain we all know from the comic books...
