Ron Book would later gain firsthand executive branch experience serving as Special Counsel and head of Legislative Affairs for Governor Bob Graham's administration, followed by a nearly 7 year tenure as Partner and Director of the Administrative and Governmental Law Department for the highly influential, Miami-based firm of Sparber, Shevin, Shapo, Heilbronner & Book, P.A. (1982-1987).
During his career, Mr. Book gained invaluable and unique insight into the world of Florida politics through his work on several statewide political campaigns, including gubernatorial, cabinet-level, and referendum efforts. Notably, Mr. Book worked on the 1980's "Five for Florida's Future" campaign and two referendums (2004 and 2008) that resulted in the legalization of gaming in Florida facilities. In addition to lobbying, Mr. Book and the team at Ronald L. Book, PA, offer general consulting services for businesses across both growing and well-established industries. This includes consulting in the areas of strategic planning, business development, and navigating complex regulatory matters.
