It was reported last month that Player First Games and WB Games’ MultiVersus would be seeing the arrival of Stripe from Gremlins as part of its Season 1 content. As it turns out, not only are we getting Stripe, but next week, Gizmo will be joining MultiVersus.
It all started with the official MultiVersus Twitter account posting a teaser video that alludes to Gizmo joining the game’s roster next Tuesday. Gizmo was never officially confirmed to be joining the game, only Stripe. That tweet was followed up by developer Player First Games chiming in, confirming that Gizmo will indeed be in the game, and would be joining the roster before Stripe.
And in case there was any doubt, Player First Games’ co-founder Tony Huynh confirmed that Gizmo and Stripe will be two separate characters for MultiVersus, and not a skin variation.
It’s still unclear as to when Stripe would be joining the game.
