Jeremiah Grant, an 8-year-old competitive jump roper from Jersey City, New Jersey, who was featured on Jimmy Fallon’s “Tonight Show” in August, was struck by a car and killed on Saturday afternoon. Grant was walking home from a team fundraiser that afternoon when a 60-year-old man driving a red Jeep Compass hit him. The child was rushed to Jersey City Medical Center where he was pronounced dead 20 minutes after the accident.
