The 19-year-old sophomore”looked dead,” according to Dave Scicchitano, a detective with police in State College, Pennsylvania.
Scicchitano appeared Monday as a witness during the first day of a hearing to determine if there is enough evidence to hold former members of Piazza’s Beta Theta Pi fraternity for trial on charges related to his Feb. 4 death.

“Stop the presses” was a line of dialogue used in all manner of thrillers and mysteries throughout Hollywood’s Golden age as a reflection of the movies’ love affair with newspapers and crusading reporters. One of the best examples may be 1976′s All The President’S Men with Woodward and Bernstein as an investigative dynamic duo who would follow every lead, turn over every rock in order to publish the facts. The fourth estate isn’t what it used to be in today’s world what with...

Question: With all the pressure Emily is getting from Jack and Nolan to end her vendetta, it seems like we are coming up on a game-change. Is there a plan for a Revenge in which Emily’s quest for vengeance is not the focus? Perhaps someone else’s quest for revenge? Victoria’s against Emily? —Jessica

We hold in our hands the covers for DC Comics this February. As a child of four can plainly see, these comics have been hermetically sealed in a Cgc 9.9 slab, and they’ve been kept in a #2 mayonnaise jar under a giant stack of returned copies of Holy Terror since noon today.
What do we have worth noting? The new look of Darkseid, and we’re far enough into the new 52 books that it’s time for Batman to start crossing over in all of them. Plus Mara Jade, the red-haired assassin who fell in love with her blond-haired man she was sent to kill– oh, I’m sorry, that’s from Star Wars. This is Mera in a jade outfit. Our mistake.
Shall we? Surely!
As usual, spoilers may lurk beyond this point.

The IMDb250. A list of the top 250 films, as ranked by the users of the biggest movie Internet site on the web. It is based upon the ratings provided by the users of The Internet Movie Database, which number into the millions. As such, it’s a perfect representation of the opinions of the movie masses, and arguably the most comprehensive ranking system on the Internet.
It’s because of this that we at HeyUGuys (and in this case, we, is myself and Gary) have decided to set ourselves a project. To watch and review all 250 movies on the list! We’ve frozen the list as of 1st January this year. It’s not as simple as it sounds, as we’ll be watching them in one year, 125 each.
This is our thirteenth update, a rundown of my next five movies watched for the project.

Tim Minear has inked a new two-year overall deal with 20th Century Fox TV, solidifying his position as one of the top writer-producers at the studio where he has been based for more than 12 years.
Under the seven-figure pact, which kicks in after the end of Minear's current deal in June, he will join "Terriers," Fox 21's new comedic drama series for FX from creator/executive producer Ted Griffin and executive producer Shawn Ryan. Minear will serve as an executive producer and No. 2 to Ryan in running the buddy Pi show.
Additionally, he will develop new projects.
"Tim has been such a great partner to the studio," 20th TV chairman Gary Newman said. "He is as versatile as any writer we've ever been in business with -- he can do genre, action, relationship, drama -- and he has worked on an incredible number of series for us."
