Originally from Hummelstown, Pennsylvania, Joe grew up performing magic
shows with his cousins which mainly consisted of terribly fumbled card
tricks, a horribly rendered song played on a one-stringed guitar, and
very, very bored parents. After appearing in over twenty plays and
musicals throughout elementary and high school, he auditioned and was
hired as a performer for the Hershey Trolley Works, a historical tour
company based in Hershey, PA. During that time, he attended Ithaca
College, where he appeared in even more plays, musicals, and student
films. And after four years of college and seven years of dressing up
like Milton S. Hershey's mother, Joe realized that he really wasn't
that good... at acting, so he decided to focus his attention elsewhere.
He graduated from Ithaca College with a B. S. in Cinema and Photography concentrating in Cinema Production and a Theatre Minor in May 2010, and later that year, drove out to Los Angeles. He lives in Burbank, where he and his friends debate the meaning of the word "meaning" and whether it is possible to actually travel back in time and become one's own grandfather.
