It’s Rauw Alejandro’s planet and we’re just living in it. The Puerto Rican reggaeton star just took the stage at the Latin Grammys in Seville, Spain Thursday to perform a medley of songs, along with a tribute to Laura Pausini and a performance with Juanes.
Rauw opened his performance with a pre-recorded, autotune-supported rendition of Pausini’s ballad “Se Fue” while surrounded by candles and a ring of fire. (Was that aimed at Rosalía?)

Welcome to Creators on the Rise, where each week, we find and profile breakout creators who are in the midst of extraordinary growth.
David Suh takes gorgeous photos.
So, when he was first getting started as a photographer and showed his high school friends the shots he’d taken of them, the last thing he expected was disappointment.
“I realized it’s really tough to get photos of other people that they like of themselves,” he says. “I created something for someone and they’re like, ‘Oh, David, my calves look too big.’ I’m like, ‘Whoa, what do you mean? This looks like such a cool photo with the latest technique I learned off of YouTube.’ They’re like, ‘No, I don’t care about that. I just don’t like this photo.'”
The problem wasn’t Suh’s techniques–or his skills. To him, the people he was photographing were beautiful.

When it comes to live performances, Rauw Alejandro sure knows how to deliver. He goes well beyond what's generally expected of a music artist, featuring special guests and running through both recent songs and past hit-makers for nearly three hours.
But perhaps more than anything else, the Puerto Rican reggaeton and Latin trap artist puts on a show like no other because he can dance - like, really dance. Think: b-boy moves and freestyle formations. But it's not just of his own accord; like others, he has a team of creative geniuses who have helped make his star shine bright.
While Alejandro, 30, has always had a natural talent for dancing, he began honing his craft after working with the founders of the dance company Fede Enterprises, choreographers Felix "FeFe" Burgos and Denise Yuri-Disla. The married couple travel the world teaching classes and choreographing for artists, and they've undeniably helped Alejandro...

A few weeks into kicking off his "Saturno World Tour," Puerto Rican and Latin trap artist Rauw Alejandro made a show-stopping entrance to an audience of more than 15,000 people by literally zip-lining his way onto the stage - while he was fully decked out in an alien-like ensemble. On Friday, Mar. 31, the reggaetonero put on a truly extraterrestrial performance - one of two back-to-back sold-out shows at Hiram Bithorn Stadium in his hometown of San Juan, Puerto Rico, where Popsugar was in attendance.
If these flashy performances were any indication, 2023 is panning out to become quite significant for Rauw Alejandro. Born Raúl Alejandro Ocasio Ruiz, the artist has been on top of his game these days. Last year, he claimed his fourth straight top 10 on Billboard's Top Latin Albums chart with his 2022 album "Saturno," which debuted at No. 2 on Nov. 26.

The Puerto Rican superstar Rauw Alejandro went all out for his high-energy, three-hour concert at Hiram Bithorn Stadium in San Juan on Friday, a highlight of his recently launched Saturno World Tour. Throughout the night, which was produced by Duars Live, Rauw filled the stage with special guests — but the biggest surprise came when he brought out his fiancée, the Spanish pop star Rosalía. The couple performed songs from their joint EP Rr for the first time, helping Rauw round out an out-of-this-world show that celebrated the arsenal of hits he’s amassed.

Since his fans can’t travel to Saturn, Rauw Alejandro is bringing the extra-terrestrial world of Saturno to Earth. On Tuesday, the Puerto Rican pop star announced a massive world tour on his Instagram — and Rolling Stone has the exclusive tour dates.
Alejandro teased the tour with an alien-inspired video where he recruits the iconic dance group to help him stop an alien invasion — and join him on tour.

Halloween Horror Nights runs September 8-October 31 this year.
Other offerings — most of them movie-related — in the newly-finalized lineup include:
• “The Weeknd: After Hours Nightmare” takes guests into “a surreal living nightmare filled with grotesque characters and themes” inspired by the Grammy-winning artist’s music and short films.
• “Halloween” ventures back to where it all began in an eerily authentic haunted house that recreates the most chilling moments from John Carpenter’s original 1978 horror masterpiece.

No one expected this year’s MTV VMAs to be typical. The event, which usually takes place at an arena like New York’s Barclays Center, was forced to go virtual this year due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, but that didn’t stop the network from trying its best to keep the spirit of a live show, well, alive.
With the challenges of mandated quarantine and social distancing guidelines affecting cities coast-to-coast, all of this year’s performers, including Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, The Weeknd and Miley Cyrus, pre-recorded their performances. And while not all were taped in New York, most made a nod to the city that birthed the once-influential all-music channel back in August 1981. It was a valiant effort, with some artists pulling out all the production stops, and others falling flat.
But the night wasn’t just all about the performances – there were other noteworthy moments,...

It was Charlotte rapper DaBaby's first-ever performance for the VMAs on Sunday, and a stellar night for it; DaBaby is up for four awards this year, including artist of the year, best hip-hop video, and best choreography for his music video for "Bop." With The Jabbawockeez at his side, DaBaby performed a medley of hits "Peephole," "Blind," and "Rockstar." His performance was a nod to recent protests against police brutality, with DaBaby riding cuffed in the back of a cop car before ending the performance against a backdrop of fire. Beyond this, it also referenced the Covid-19 pandemic, as during "Peephole," the set included cardboard boxes, which were knocked over and turned out to be full of face masks. You can watch the story unfold for yourself with his full performance above.

“Modern Family” actor Eric Stonestreet quickly experienced the pressures of being a judge on “America’s Got Talent” when he stepped in as a last minute substitute for Heidi Klum on Tuesday’s episode. Heidi was feeling ill so Sofia Vergara called up her Emmy winning former co-star to join her at the judges’ table alongside Simon Cowell and Howie Mandel. The first act to perform after Eric arrived was a dance crew called Xtreme Dance Force and Eric was immediately thrown into the fire as the deciding vote as to whether they would advance or not. On tonight’s episode of Dancing With The Stars, the dance group The Jabbawockeez will perform a Halloween-inspired dance that will leave the audience in awe of their amazing skills, timing, and abilities. But this isn’t the first time that The Jabbawockeez has impressed on television. The JabbaWockeez make their triumphant return to the Las Vegas Strip at the Monte Carlo Resort and Casino, and Zap2it was given an all-access, behind-the-masks pass to see the show and speak to the dancers.
The original "America's Best Dance Crew" winners fill the void left by illusionist Lance Burton with their own brand of stage magic. They've described their show as "the audio-visual story of inspiration brought to life through the harmonization of sound and movement."
Besides the massive, bright signage all over the Monte Carlo, it's easy to see that this is Wockeez Land from the wealth of merchandise to be had. T-shirts, caps and of course those somewhat unsettling, expressionless white masks are available to all. While browsing through the accessories, we hear a young fan wearing a mask say that he's going to be one of the Wockeez when he grows up.

America's Best Dance Crew returns tonight, and executive produder Randy Jackson says it's the best season yet. That's what they always say! Ouch. EW spoke with Jackson this week to get the low-down on the b-boys and girls, Adam and Kris, and how old Dance Crew fans are supposed to be. Entertainment Weekly: How did Omarion wind up as Shane Sparks' replacement...

The fourth season of MTV's "America's Best Dance Crew" premieres this Sunday! Want to know who is going to win it all? It might help to take a look back at the winners from the first three seasons — JabbaWockeeZ (season 1), Super Cr3w (season 2), and Quest Crew (season 3) to see what they have in common.
It seems the most intriguing and most important of similarities is each crew (either as a whole or in part) has competed in another TV talent show, such as NBC's "America's Got Talent," "Star Search," and Fox's "So You Think You Can Dance." JabbaWockeeZ made their television debut in 2007's inaugural season of "America's Got Talent," where they were eliminated during the first call-back round. Thursday night's "So You Think You Can Dance" results show opened with the top six dancing to "Send In The Clowns," but the song proved to be most meaningful to 29-year-old ballerina Melissa Sandvig and contemporary dancer Ade Obayomi, who the ones eliminated from the competition by the end of the tense hour.
Here's where I rant.
As adorable and likeable as the guy is, Broadway-loving Evan does not deserve to advance to the finals. Sorry, Evan fans! He has failed to live up to his promise week to week, even when dancing in his genre. The fact that the judges have started to inexplicably pimp him (after bashing him throughout the first half of the season) makes me resent his presence even more. Evan's got a massive number of fans who think he can do no wrong (how else to explain his staying power?), which scares me. To think...
