With an extensive background in theatre, Etai trained at the University of Michigan and the legendary Moscow Art Theatre. He made his professional debut at the Muny in St. Louis while still in college. Prominent roles onstage include: "Papi" in The Band's Visit (Original Broadway Cast), "Boq" in Wicked (Broadway), and "Adam" in An American in Paris (National Tour) along with countless regional productions.
